It's true! It's about time! Agreed. I'm noticing a disturbing trend towards streakiness with things around here. Hyper busy followed by a week or so of lull. It's making planning things a wee bit difficult. new plan: Don't put anything on your calendar for work ever. No more streakiness. TA DA!!! After I win the lottery and buy my private island, that is my exact plan. I keep saying the same thing. I just haven't decided yet if actually playing the lottery will increase my chances, or if they will stay about the same as they are now. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulies are workin' out in July! Hi Gouhlies! I miss the entire village! I have been running around crazy for the last week or so--I haven't even blogged (on my logs here), or worked for almost a week, or checked my email for 4 days. Eek! That one was not pretty... I biked tonight--bike speed interval training with some peeps from the local tri club. I have been wanting to go do this for almost a year--and I finally made it! Now it looks like it will be a regular thing every week, for the duration of the tri season at least. Yay! Also, it looks like we are buying some recreational property--a little slice of land where we can park the travel trailer and we can camp and hubby can ride his ATV to his little hearts content. Although that means more money needs to be spent because we only ave one ATv, and it is a racing type, and he wants to get a prowler-type, 4 seater. Do you think he'll have a harder time breaking his collarbone with that kind if I let him buy it? They do have seatbelts in them. And a roll bar. Hmmmm. I'll come back tomorrow and try to get caught up on the pages I've missed. Right now it's time for a shower and this momma's bedtime. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies are workin' out in July! Good morning Ghoulies! I already got my trainer ride in for today. It wasn't pretty, but it's done. If I am going to do that again I am going to have to put my bike and trainer out in the garage. The sound I was making in the basement had the dogs barking upstairs, that's not good when everyone else in the house is asleep.

Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Ghoulies are workin' out in July! Evening Ghouligans. Quiet in here today. I've had a rough couple weeks. Lots of work travel, but that's my new normal. Most of the challenges have been on the personal side. BFF lost her mom suddenly to a stroke and another friend's hubby dx with stage 4 cancer. Then got home tonight and there is vomit/feces all over the house. Poor kitty is in a bad way. He was fine when I left this morning. Had to take him to the emergency vet clinic. Just got off the phone with them and he has some sort of blockage in the bowel. They're going to try a barium enema overnight. If that doesn't work, surgery. This would not be the first time. Several years ago he ate a plastic toggle of some sort that had to be surgically removed. If they have to go in again, I want to close the abdomen with a zipper. You do not want to know how much this is going to cost. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Ghoulies are workin' out in July! Good morning Ghoulies! What a weekend! My niece got married on Saturday. My BIL and I were the wedding photographers. I was on my feet for the better part of 7 hours. When they were doing the bouquet, and the garter, I couldn't stand anymore, I let my BIL get those shots. I went home, took some heavy duty pain killers, and spent the rest of the evening on my heating pad. Yesterday we had my nephew's birthday party at my house. If I wasn't helping to get things ready I was on my recliner on my heating pad. When most of the family had left I got the clippers out and cut my 2 year old nephew's hair, my dad's hair, my husband's hair, and my son's hair. My dad has had a comb over FOREVER. The top of his head is completely bald, but it isn't even like he is combing over a lot of hair to cover it, it was maybe 30 stragely hairs. It looked horrible. I cut them off yesterday. He said he was mad, I didn't really believe him. My mom thanked me. Last night my husband took the kids to the drive-in to see Cars 2. Other family members were taking their kids and going. I stayed home. They didn't get home until 11:30, that's way past my bedtime on a school night. That was pretty much my weekend. |

I was a pretty good girl and didn't over do too much- you have to overdo some while there. I met a friend in the flesh that I "met" on this site 3 years ago. It was great. I am still trying to get the sound of bagpipes out of my head. Today is recovering the puppy from jail and washing all clothes and re washing dishes. This is almost TMI, but there are hot showers available from 6-8 in the morning. You have to get up and get in line and if you are not one of the first 10 women, the water is cold. There are what we call Hokey-pokey showers or religious showers ( for "you put your one arm in.. put your other arm in..." or because you shout "O MY GOD" because the water is straight from the mountain .....COLD!). I avoided them and just washed what I needed to. After the shower last night, I lost a pound. |
