Hey all!

a few more miles in this morning along with a run to end the week.  I am lagging a bit on the group and need to correct that.  Just noticed that we only have one week left and I have a lot more miles left than I really wanted so it looks like a busy week for me.  But I will take tomorrow off as my legs need a rest break.

I got another 30 miles in yesterday.  If my trend for cycling continues for the rest of this week I'll be over my mileage but under for the number of rides.

Hey all!

More miles in this morning.  Looks like I am reverse of Dirk where I should hit my number of rides easily but lacking in miles.  At this point it looks like I am just going to have to do a long ride on Saturday (currently 99 miles but hope to whittle that down before then).  Weather here looks to be improving and maybe a few days without rain which would be nice.

Only 11 miles in yesterday (will add it to my toatals later today).

I have a pulled muscle (glute muscle) a couple days ago (TMI on how), but I can get mileage in on the flats, but climbs I'm out.

Off to work.

Everyone keep up the great work.

Breezy, any idea on totals?

Great to have you back Tracy. Waesome race too!!!!

Looks like my injury is a little worse than I thought. It also includes a minor hamstring pull. I really don't have too much discomfort on riding flats (like that's easy here). I'm still gutting it out. The PT says I can't do any more damage and it will just take time to heal. He said to just take it easy, so I am. I'm just putting in enough mileage to stay loose and keep fit, plus to continue the TdF challenge.

I still need to go over my totals again and update the spread sheet, but it looks like I already passed my 1st mileage goal I set in the beginning (630 miles), but I'm close on the revised mileage goal & stages.

Just a few days left! Keep up the great work everyone!!!

Great Job Team !!

I'm a little bummed about having to spend so much time out of town, and not getting sufficient sleep. I got back in the saddle this morning for a quick 17 miles before work.

I feel 'kinda like our team in the "Tour", just cruising on in...

I just completed another 30 mile ride for the Tour. I have been keeping my intensity low but I let a few miles get a little harder tonight.  It made for a slightly more interesting ride than just spinning for 30 miles.

I am hoping to get another 65 miles in either tomorrow or Saturday but I have to figure out how to juggle my long run and long rides with my daughters swim meet on Saturday.

Yup, the spreadsheet is GONE!!!

Well, my total mileage is now: 689.15 miles (700 miles goal - all 21 stages)

I should have the last 11 miles in today and I'll finish out the stages (2 left?)

27 easy miles this morning. I've reached my miles, I just have to squeeze in a couple more rides.

Great fun, thanks everyone for challenging.

Spreadsheet seems to be working for me now albeit a little slow to display.  Hit my goal number of sessions today and will get in at least one more ride to add miles tomorrow.

The spreadsheet is MIA again.  I didn't have the time or the energy to update it yesterday but I rode 63 miles.  I also can't remember if the spreadsheet was working after mt ride on Thursday night either.  If not, I am missing 2 rides on the spreadsheet that should get my totals up to close if not complete for my goals.

Ok never mind. I was getting ready to post this message, I checked one more time and noticed there are tabs at the bottom.  I clicked "sheet 1" and there it was.  So if anyone has the same problem try selecting a different tab.

Great ride Dirk!

So, I have achieved all my goals: 21 stages (no 2 rest days - taking them now) & 706.63 miles (700 mile goal).

Great riding everyone and keep at it!

I put in 26 Miles before work, I'm all done except for the ride into Paris in the morning to complete my # of rides. I'm not even gonna challenge Cavendish, I'll let him have this last stage...

Went for my long ride this morning and 20 something miles into it rain came in with thunder.  Packed it up and added 28 more miles.  Past my # of sessions goal but still short on my miles.  Wasn't planning on riding tomorrow, due to my long run, but may put a few more miles in to help the team.

One day of racing left! Be sure to have your spreadsheets up to date by the end of Monday for final standings.

Sorry kids - nothing over 100% of your goal counts - at least that has been Kat's rule in the past challenges. If she wants to change that....

Sky = 88.3%

Garmin = 87.3%

BMC = 86.3%

Liquigas = 82.2%

Europcar = 71.7%

Omega = blank spreadsheet

Are you sure you don't want to take a shot at Cav? I could be your lead out man and give you the boost right before you blast by him.I am going to race tomorrow for possibly my last stage. I have decided (at the last minute) to race a sprint tomorrow morning. it was my first ever first place in my AG win and I would like a repeat and maybe, just maybe, an overall placement. After the race I will be heded to the city swim championship to watch my daughter swim in her laast swim meet ever. She'll be a freshman in college in August and HS swim is over for her, so this will be my last chance.

Well I am at 101% because of my sessions.  Got another 10 miles in.  I thought the contest ended Sunday but if it ends Monday I will get a few more miles in to try to get close to my goal miles.  Good month of riding for me, thanks for the inspiration!

The Omega spreadsheet is there. We found it. You just have to hit the one of the bottom sheet tabs for it to come up.

 We're showing at 92.75

The sprint to the finish line is on! Omega Pharma is challenging Sky for the lead! Be careful, or these teams might just launch Garmin to the finish line.

Omega Pharma = 95.8%

Sky = 95.8%

Garmin = 92.6%

BMC = 87.7%

Liquigas = 83.9%

Europcar = 79.6%

I was going to post that I deleted the extra worksheets and PM'ed Breezy yesterday but looks like he figured that out. Great job folks we are tied for first place.  Just another day so if you haven't hit 100% now is the time!

Finished my long ride this morning - 21.85 miles, a distance PR for meSmile - but didn't realize I'm less than 3 miles from my goal.  Not to worry though - I'll get it in tonight, either a quick ride around the neighborhood or on the trainer.
