So the company we planned to have over decided to just go to a hotel. That's a relief in many ways. Dissapointing in others.

Dang it. At least it's not $1500 in a new altinator and fuel pump. Just need a jump or a new battery? The heat kill batteries, and windshield wipers. I probably replace them once a year and use them 5-6 times.

I used to have to do that a LONG time ago, but only had auto/electronic shifting since.

However, I have done it with my motorcycle on occasion. Those batteries don't have the juice for too many attempts at turning over.

In the day when you simply didn't have the $75 for a new battery, I parked my Mustang pointed downhill and popped it for about a week until next pay day. 1979 Mustang with a Jensen cassette and Pioneer speakers. White with red vinyl seats. Cragar 4 spoke chrome rims. My first car with my name on the registration.

Yup, burned crispy. Not sure about the career choice yet. Thinking that through. Would like to find something that adds value to society rather than money to shareholders. Not that that is bad; but as I have gotten older I am looking back at how what I have accomplished and I seem to want more. Flexible schedule; perhaps work from home a day or two a week. Smaller company which could give me some strategic input. Working the details out yet; but that is where I am at right now. Vacation did help. A lot of talking with my wife and confirmed her support.

Heat sucks, I don't know how the Southerners do it. I'll take zero degrees versus mid 90s any day of the week. Have a great day.
