Weekly works for me. Besides, you need to spend your time working out, not updating spreadsheets. LOL BTW, I'm not working late tonight. Can you tell? I've posted like 200 messages in 15 minutes. And yet, surprisingly enough, I've really had nothing to say. LOL Yes, I DO plan on hitting the treadmill tonight. (Unfortunately, I will be working late again tomorrow though....)
Yes weekly please.... I need the results from the Team Leader by monday Pm/Tuesday AM USA time otherwise I will get out my whip |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Poison Apples Team Thread spokes - 2007-10-02 7:09 PM I run first thing in the morning 5/7 days a week. I've got a little marathon coming up on Dec. 2nd and a half-mary this Sunday. Ran 8.1 @ 5:30 this morning, in fact. :) That said, there's nothing wrong with good-natured smack in the team threads, because in the end, the BEST situation would be for all challenge teams to meet 100% of their goal. So good luck! Yep, smack talk is fine. I think it's hysterical. :) In fact, I just snuck over to the other newbie team, "Things that go bump in the night," and left a few poison apples for 'em. Muhahahaha! I loved the September Challenge, but this challenge is MUCH more lively! I've never seen so many posts generated in just two days! LOL And yes, the best situation is that we ALL meet 100% of our goals. I wonder if we all have to display the penalty avatar then. (Then again, at least it would replace my penalty Twinkietar.) Good luck to everyone. But.... POISON APPLES ARE GONNA WIN! :)

Although I bet being chased by a whip-wielding kaqphin would make you run faster. Actually, I'll just make sure that I post my weekly totals on Sunday night. That way, no one will be waving a whip at me.

I was just asking the team if they would like to see it here in the thread daily or weekly so they could keep track of everyone (you know to heckle someone that isn't doing the running)... Everyone - Since I need to send the spreadsheet to Cat no later than Monday PM..I will need running/walking all in the logs through Sunday Monday at noon or so please.

Yeah, legs or feet, or something like that. But for the month of October, I have to display a TwinkieTar. *sigh* On the Sept Challenge, the East team was in the lead for two weeks. We thought we were doing GREAT. Then, we fell behind. And.... we lost the Challenge! Now, I have to wear a box of Twinkies!!!!! Take home message - no matter where the Poison Apples are each week, DO NOT GIVE UP! RUN, RUN, RUN! I sure hope we win this month. 'Cause I don't wanna go from Twinkies in October to Legs in November!

Sorry was I bossy? Dont worry no one in the world finds me scary.... As for the loosing penalty there are two concepts out there at the moment.... lower half in something clingly like lycra or naked (ish within reason) OR feet... gotta workout how to make a decision!!! |

You mentioned something about a whip before..... I'm plenty scared now. Of course, seeing that you're in Sidney, it would be a pretty long swim, bike ride and run before you got here. And it would probably be tough to carry your whip while you swam, biked and ran. So, thinking about it, I'm probably pretty safe, huh? (I'm rambling. Yet another post with no meaningful content whatsoever. LOL) Dee |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Poison Apples Team Thread Hey everyone. I've been allowed to join your team. I'm a walker who is now going to try to run. So I figured that a challenge was a good way to get started. I'll be doing a 1/2 marathon in Las Vegas the beginning of December. I usually walk them, but am hoping to be able to run/walk this one. Then I want to be able to run a 5k without stopping by the end of Nov. Those are my goals. So I am going to do 30 miles this month. If I was walking that would be nothing, for I usually walk 12-16 miles a week. But running is a whole other ball game. I'm married, one hubby, two children, two soon to be three grandchildren, two cats. I'm a librarian in Georgia and started doing TRI's this year for my 50th birthday. Master 2339 somewhere over the rainbow | Subject: RE: Poison Apples Team Thread hey what's with all the nasty apples on THIS thread?!? go spread them to the OTHER guys!! ok ok ok, so i didn't run today. i know i've said this before, but since i'm feeling guilty, i made you all some home made bread, and well, ironically, apple pie. it smells REALLY good here!! and i AM running tomorrow. if nothing else, i have to shut jason up!! on his behalf, he DID KIND of beat me. i had a faster time (by 7 seconds) but his swim WAS longer. but the bike is where he beat me. our swim times were compatible-mine was half his but so was my swim. i beat him in the run by like 12 minutes, but he beat me in the bike by like 20 minutes so ok ok ok. he WINS that round. too bad i'm gonna beat him to the 50 mile marker this month. i don't have a point. i'm all for the pointless post. i'll just throw that out there. |

Kendra aka kns57 Hi Kendra, As long as you state upfront what you are basing your mileage on there will be no problems. For example my workouts are all using the walk/run method but I include the whole work out as a run session so all fo that time counts... Just be upfront and there will be no problems!!! Happy Running Cat |
