One reason is that the "calendar" on BT goes from Sun to Sat.

Sunday through Sat... x2 or is it three.

Hiya,

I always give the team til Monday to check in with their totals since some people wont get online over the weekend.... most teams will report their totals right up til the last second because they want to make themselves look as good as possible...

Just my experience!

Anyone has a status as of Sunday? Great job all, and let's keep on running this week. Let's get them all. We have to convert them all to vampires before the end of the month.

I'll attach the final tonight. Looking at the other team results that have been posted we need to step it p if we are going to win this.

Hi Vamps,

Sorry to be behind at this point. I did some damage to my back early last week then played a match Thurs night. Not helpful....

Back on the road today. I strongly considered asking for a medical release from Kat but will give best efforts to make my goal.

Thanks for the encouraging messages!

Gina,
Don't over do it. We want you to run but only if you can physically do it. If you need more recovery time then just adjust your mileage, it's allowed on this challenge with no penalty if I understood it right. Either way you got our support. Go Vamps!

Hey Gina... Im suffering medical issues myself and Ive had to switch to the elliptical for the challenge instead of running... monitor your injury and find out if there is something you can do like aqua jogging or the elliptical.... that can count in this situation

Let me know how you are getting on... I dont want anyone risking their health over a challenge You can always stay on as team cheerleader!!!!

Mileage up is allowed... in the event of an injury of course I am totally open to any requests... id rather have someone able to take part then ruled out completely because of something like this which is out of your control!

So here are the final numbers I submitted for out team. I have also adjusted Melhndi's commitment change to 60 as per her post that I missed this week. Sorry about that.

Going forward all numbers are Monday thru Sunday... eventhough even some captians are also including this Monday but whatever...All that matters is the end of the month and that everyone keeps on running. Great job everyone!!!

Great job everyone... And Gina keep me informed on if you want to change your commitment to minutes. Sounds like you have the understanding of Cat.

Nice day in the midwest to run Vampires!  I won't get mine in until late tonight, but I like to run in the cool evenings.

Watched my son run in the conference JV meet today.  It's his first year of running.  After only running for 9 weeks he's running a 22 to 23min 5k.

He was first at the 1/2 mile point today   but ended up about 2/3 of the way back.

It was fun!

Run Vamps!

Cross Country....You gotta love it!!...  yeah, I am biased!!Smile

Hi everyone,

I have consulted with Kat and she has allowed me use of an eliptical. The one I use records miles so I will keep my goal in miles, as she suggested. It will be in the run section of my log but I will note "eliptical" so I can keep a personal tally of those workout vs. my road work.

Hope everyone is having a good week. The weather in my part of the country is finally cooling off some....hoo-ray!

Ok after this morning's run I'm out for the count, at least for this week. The doc told me nothing important other then the common sense stuff I already knew (rest, elevation and ice it down), what did I expect from a regular military Doc as opposed to a sports knowledgeable one. Hence I will continue to cheer lead you until I can run again hopefully real soon. Go Vampires!

I'm really sorry to hear it. Do you want to pull out or do you want to decrease your commitment? We are more than glad to keep you as a cheerleader.

Not sure what the injury is but you can leave it a few days and see how your recovery goes before making a decision if you like?

Dont feel the need to make a decision right away ok? Best of luck healing
