Oh, everyone have a Merry Christmas!  I'm taking some time off so I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to get to the week 3 results right away.  If your able go ahead and post week 3 and I'll try to snoop in and get it done.

Donto, I still have not heard from Tgz-tarheel and she has no workouts posted for the last 2 wks. I don't think she is in the Challenge anymore.

donto they'll be a delay posting the snowmen results. three hectic days of family/friends visiting. sorry! also my parents got burgled last w/e so i've been doing the whole dutiful daughter routine. i have asked my teamies to step up to the plate but no replies yet. SORRY!!!!!!!!!

also donto - my total has changed, i did pm you about it, and clarkar will have to change his as he only just found out about his pool closure.

Question for Cat and Don

If we have a team member that is struggling rule 4. goes into effect

4. Individuals who achieve more than their committed goal will not have these additional swims counted in the first 3 weeks of the challenge (so increase your goal!!!)
EXCEPTION: In the final week of the challenge team members may exceed 100% (up to 120% max,) and use their additional data to assist team members who are struggling to reach their goal.

for clarification does this mean that anything from 100.1% up to 120% may be donated to a fellow team member during the final week. Anything in excess of 120% doesn't count for anyone -- yourself or a fellow team member.

Ah, I hope I can answer this clearly!  It's not really donated to them in the sense we take yardage from here and put it there.  In the individual % column the team can exceed 100% even though some may not have reached 100%, this is how it is "donated" to them.  However in the Team % ("overall goal met" column) this will not be 1 or 100% regardless as it max's out at 100%. 

BTW, who's struggling, you have 3 that are very close to 70% individually.  I have one at 21%, now that's struggling!

Amy got really sick and will not be able to finish her goal - so we were hoping to help her out

so, for the people that exceed 100%, their time/yds help account for the time that the individual who didn't make their goal?

You got it Dee!  The Combined % is then 95%.

Before I came up with the 120% & min 70% deal, one teammate that did not meet their goal would have a drastic affect on the team results.  In the case above it would have been 90% for the Ind (100 & 80) then the Team% would have been 50% (100 & 0) for a Combined of 75%.  I didn't like the way if affected teams will only 6 players vs teams with 10 players, so this helped to narrow the margin and make the team results closer and hopefully more competitive!

Yanti and I have made an executive decision to drop 2 people from the stats this week.  Nick (nhmorgan) and Joanie (isis) have not logged a single thing in the past 2 weeks.  It won't keep the Puddings out of DFL but at least our stats will reflect the hard work of those who really gave some effort.
