Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Updated it. If Hanna hadn't gotten in the way, I'd be in second place with 35.something %, but I didn't think swimming was prudent in that weather. If I'd had an outdoor pool I likely would have gone for it, but the river worried me. Plus, I was being too whiny to deal with NH's State Bird that were out in force. I still want to be motivated. |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Just came back to say - I couldn't possibly be at 20%! I'd have to be either way ahead or way behind, because of those 1 swim and 1 bikes that I put in. But I am right on track, following exactly what I said I'd do, so I'm proud of myself for that. Ouch, I think I just sprained my tricep, patting myself on the back... |

Elite 2634 in front of my computer duh! | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) went on a run yesterday. It was short. this was one of a handful of runs I have done since my knee surgery earlier this year. I made it to mile 1.5 before the pain and swelling started and then made it to mile 2.5 before I HAD to call someone to pick me up (about 1/2 mile before the end of my run) it hurt so bad I couldn't even walk. But I will try to run again maybe again today or tomorrow. I am thinking that it is just weak still. I will just go at a slower pace and with less hills. and maybe a shorter distance. |

OWS is not a great choice during tropical storms or their subsequent fall out rain. Good call on that! |

Hmmmm... pain and swelling doesn't sound good at all. Be careful with that. Definitely go slow and on a flat surface, preferably softer terrain, and maybe do a run:walk and ice it afterwards. |
