Nibbs - XXXIX (Page 40)

Today was kind of a marathon.  I wrote two big chunks - about 4 or more paragraphs each.  Tomorrow morning, I'll type it before I go into the office.  I still have some to do, but probably only 3 or so paragraphs total.

I should really go to bed, but I'm not quite ready mentally.

Yep.  Haven't done some of the house things I wanted to do today.  Like figure out what groceries we need and boring things.  My husband can subsist on ramen and mac and cheese, but it's not really my thing.

Actually once he falls asleep we can turn it off... but this kid usu. stays up later than we do

It calls for a 25 w B (like a christmas light bub).... I put in a 40 w B (one of the little lights that go in chandeliers).... what was I to do???   I'm not going to change out the light bulb on the ceiling fan in the dark

house things...    I told 6 yo that the Easter bunny doesn't come to dirty houses, so we'd better get busy.... yeah, we did nothing today... maybe this will be my escape clause for no Easter this year...

Nice. 

I miss getting easter baskets. I keep trying to do them with the husband, but it never works out.  Oh well.

okay... so I deleted my avatar image in an effort to upload a new one...

Now I can't figure out how to copy without a mouse to right click... I keep trying command c and v... but it tain't workin'

seriously, I'm thinking b/t three birthday parties this month that maybe we really can skip Easter...  though I thought that it'd be a good time for him to get a new bike helmet... one that actually fits... the kid's head grew this winter!!!

I don't have a mouse to right click... I bought a mouse back in Dec... but it's still in a box... somewhere....

Hold down control while you  click and that will bring up the normal right clicky stuff.

My new roommate is a riot...

previously he was a navy seal and professional heavy-weight fighter.

He is Italian...I am pretty darn sure that he has some influencial relations on the East Coast.

One of his close friends from his past is a major player in mexican mob/mafia...he has some interesting stories.

Since then he has married and has 4 little girls (between 5 and 10 years).
He plays it straight now...he is a used cars sales manager.   He is always doing business.  He wanders around wearing his bluetooth and I never know if he is addressing me or on the phone with someone.

Hmmm, the discription makes him sound shady, but he is upfront and honest.  He loves his girls something fierce and calls them every evening.  (they are in Utah...or was it Idaho). 

He is making big plans for my basil seedlings...Pesto.  If I left the seedlings in the kitchen they would probably all be grazed upon.

OK, it is time for me to retire.
