The ratio of DMV employee to customer was at least 1:1 and it still too over 2 hours! Oh well, on a positive note don't have to go back there until 2013. sorry but two hours is remarkable for the local office here! THEY GO IN REVERSE! and like to take breaks I always make appointments...they do that everywhere right? with an appointment you can get in and out in a matter of hours!..no just kidding..they usually are maybe 10 or so minutes behind but most only take less then 1/2 hour. Next time make an appointment...I promise you will be thanking me!! its soo much easier. |

Champion 7546 Santa Cruz, California | Subject: RE: Show us your Ghoulies - Halloween Run Challenge kcarroll - 2009-10-02 1:00 PM The guide dogs were out today. I live in a town with a school for the blind and a guide dog training program. Love watching them during their ventures all over town. Very, very cool. Maybe that will be my next career. I would love to do that...but Im afraid I would be that ONE person who could not give the dog up once I trained it! I am such an animal lover! |

Woooo...my right side under my ribs was hurting though...kinda cramping but kind of not cramping...I don't know...it was weird...so I basically spent my run yesterday trying to decide what it was and today convincing myself that I a) dont have an enlarged liver (ps...i learned how to feel my liver today...yaaaaaa!), and b) that it is just some sort of weird stitch and probably due to the fact that I was sick for awhile and hadn't really been running too much...
Glad it's not an enlarged liver. LOL! Touching my liver sounds fascinating. Glad I don't know how |

I got a nice little 2 1/2 miler in this morning. I also found out a nice little way to increase speed on tempo runs - keep up with a lacrosse player 7 years younger than you! That was fun... Anyway, good way to start the weekend. This afternoon is softball practice. Bring it on!!! I love softball...played as a kid for over 6+ years...recently I played on a coed team...and when I went up to bat the other team all came in...and thank goodness for my batting practice I did at the cages before the game....cuz I SMACKED it over thier heads! that will teach them!! haha never underestimate a girl with a bat in her hand! MUWAHAHAHA!!! That's awesome! This is a co-ed league too. I got recruited to play short-stop so hopefully that will work out well. I forgot how much sprinting after ground balls all afternoon can wear you out! haha...bet you will be the best short stop around! where are you in the batting line up? |

not sure if this works for everyone..but I find when I do get a side stitch from running to breathe slowly in thru the nose...and to expel thru the mouth...try to continue this as you slightly rub it...helps me! but it could be the mind over matter for me! |
