Oh it is not having a thick skin, I don't particularly care what most of these people think of me they do not matter one whit in my world.  Many, however, often get their nose bent out of shape very easily.

What do you guys think about email signature lines at work - that aren't work related? 
For example, I just got an email with this as a signature line:

Every time I hear the dirty word 'exercise',
I wash my mouth out with chocolate.

Thoughts?

Stupid and unprofessional. She doesn't know if the person she is emailing is an athlete or likes to exercise. If so, this sig immediately makes her not liked (which makes her job harder), and if its someone outside the company, also affects the company name in the eyes of the recipient.

Leave personal sigs (even if you think they are obviously a joke or in jest) for your personal email. Keep work email professional and as vanilla as possible.

I agree, but didn't know if I was being too harsh.
I even think this way about stuff like bible verses or inspirational quotes or even then "please think before printing" environmental ones. Why do people feel the need to auto-attach them to emails? Doesn't make any sense to me.

The BEST use of email sig I've ever seen was: "Please excuse the brevity. Sent from my phone" 
That one actually worked and was relevant.
