KelliD - 2009-03-27 4:13 PM There was another gem of a suit, but I wasn't able to fine tune it enough for it to make the cut.....it involved a cowboy hat and said something about saddling up.....

I am obviously going to have to dig deep in my creative vault to come up with something for you!  This stuff is great!  Thanks for one hell of a laugh fest!

Sorry, you're just going to have to face it, we're way out of your league.

Totally agree with my sister from another mister!  You can try to match us, but unlikely that you can even come close to anything we've produced or have up our sleeves

So I'm having LOTS of trouble running recently.  I can hardly put down any distance and when I do the next day everything is killing me.  Its very discouraging, I ahve thought of giving in all together more times then I would like to admit recently.  This such a departure from how things normally are its almost scary.....

What's killing you after the runs? muscle, joints, tendons, ankles, knees, etc??? You could try throttling the distance or intensity back and substitute in more biking to keep your cardio going. Hang in there man, don't throw in the towel yet!

Glad to see - the fun continues!  Man card drawers! Awesome!

Well gang - I enjoyed a great race this morning!  Perfect running conditions, legs felt good... I crushed my PR and I am super stoked...especially since this was not an "A" race... my training recently, was certainly not geared for this event.  But, my overall fitness lately, has certainly contributed to improved running as well.

Thanks to all, for your encouraging words and motivation!  I truly believe that through this group, we will all have some great results this season!  We Rock!!!

Alright who has got time to make Justin's victory supersuit today?

So I would like to go on record here saying that I am going to stop drinking for awhile.  The hangovers are cutting into my training big time, and it's not doing wonders for weight loss either.

Feel free to lecture in the future when I post about a crappy session due to alcohol induced dehydration or just general stupidity.

Before you can be old & wise, you must first be young & foolish!  Don't quit drinkin', just be smarter about when, where and how much you drink!

I don't always drink beer, but when I do (after a great race) I drink 6 (yes six...all six) Dos Equis with lime, while I am basking in the sun on my patio... oooof!   I think I am rehydrated... and feeling no pain!  But damn they tasted good!

I'm with Justin you don't need to stop drinking just drink smarter with not so many crazy/hazy nights

This might also be why you're constantly getting sick...

Thanks for the feedback guys, unfortunately, I'm not so great with the whole concept of moderation.  I get that I should drink less, but that doesn't always work for me.  It's easier to just stop doing it all together.

It's also super easy to say this on a Monday.  We'll chat more about my brilliant idea on Friday night after the week that I have scheduled.

Good morning everyone.

Could somebody please tell me why the boy in the cube across from me has the song "Age of Aquarius" blaring from his speakers?

Talk about one that's going to be stuck in my head all day.  Hope some of you can now share in my misery.

I also have to agree with Justin and Eric.  For a few months last summer I put a moritorium on drinking, and in hindsight there was really no need.  A drink here and there or a few drinks on a night out over the weekend isn't a training killer, IMHO.  Just remember to stay super hydrated!  I probably have a beer or glass of wine a few nights a week, but now that training has started my big nights out will be very far and few between.

With my calf issue I have been focusing on biking and swimming. It might be a case of too hard to fast. I am not the young lad I used to be so I have to battle my ego on trying to go fast. Like eric said dont throw in the towel yet. We got your back.

Nicole.... thanks for that ear worm... Age of Aquarius... stop the madness, as I repeat the chorus - over and over now!

Would I reveal my pervy-ness if I said - white suits for the girls!  no markings...just plain white suits... talk about super powers! wonder twin powers activate!
