Coffee would be a good idea.  *YAWN!*  Went to bed around 2:30 last night so no biking for me this morning.  Prob ok to let my bum rest a day after the first real ride on the new saddle.  Going to go for same route tomorrow AM but a little longer than yesterday.

Anyone want to catch me up on the Tour?  I haven't gotten much chance to even look at the last several recaps, let alone watch stages.

Hmmm....not sure where you last left the tour.  Contador and Lance are just a few seconds off the overall.  The one stage in the Pyrenees that ended in a summit Contador attacked (which many are saying was against team orders) and gained a few seconds on Lance.  Other than that the last 3 or 4 stages have been uneventful with no changes in the overall standings.  Cavendish retook the green jersey during yesterday's stage.  I can't talk about today's stage because of the 24 hour ban.  i'm watching it right now though

Your volume has been impressive.  I wouldn't feel too bad about reducing or missing a workout here or there if you think you need more rest.  I like to view a plan as more of a flexible guideline.

Personally I map out one month blocks.  Then I'll usually take a look at each upcoming week and make adjustments if I feel they are needed.

Yeah, I looked at one week at a time and tried to rework each week as it came up.
