Artemis - 2009-09-24 12:38 PM I just had some steel-cut oatmeal with brown sugar.  Not bad.

I like sugar...

Me too.

Have you ever had your thyroid hormones checked? Might be worth just checking them.... They're at the lowest levels around 2 AM. I used to wake up around that time like clockwork.

Ive actually been waking up between 3-4am like clockwork for weeks!

But I went to bed earlier last night so maybe its a time  spent asleep thing

And with some people I *know* - only (and i know this is silly since my BT logs are open to everyone) I dont want to have to explain everything Ive got going on if I disappear or whatever (not that Im intending on doing that)

Chatty-ish? LOL

How about if you just set a goal of a few sessions? That way, you can take it at whatever pace you want, and do whatever distance you want. So think of it as a noncompetitive challenge -- just a way to motivate you to go outside and do some walking, etc.

If you "disappear," I think that most of BT is going to charter a flight to Sydney to find out what's going on....

Thanks Dee - I want to get outside and DO something before i figure out a goal....

Chatty-ish = chatty but without the one word posts if possible... its hard enough to keep up when Im asleep a lot of the time you guys are awake but wading through pages of individual posts is not something I see me having the patience for...

Wow I sound like a cranky pants... dont mean to!

Sounds like fun Mel!!

It was fun.

Any more details than that?

well I spent a good half hour just working on bike mounts...my right thigh is a bit sore. We also worked on step through dismounts.  It was a bit easier for me than others because I was just wearing my running shoes. I don't have fancy pedals on my bike so I didn't have to worry about unclipping at the just the right moment.

I managed to scrape my knee up a little bit.

I rode the course a couple of times too.  If I get fast at this with my bike I will be super buff.  my steel mt bike is heavy!

I rented a Fuji Team RC while I was in WI...it was nearly all carbon fiber and was such an easy ride.
