AH man - like I said - you'll bounce back and be better then ever - better then our fellow QCTC brethren down-troddin with the fever - I found a pic of him today, that BEAVER FEVER is quick..just the other day Jeff was tellin me he got this cravin for chewin on wood and buildin dams - next thing ya know he sent me this pic ......I wonder if they will let him continue his MBA studies at Duke lookin like this.....

By the way, in case you were wondering what the heck this was all about.  One of my tri club members stopped by.  Our VP's husband has been sick for several weeks.  They finally figured out that he has--wait for it--BEAVER FEVER!  It's some sort of parasitic stomach thing but what a wonderful name!

That's ok....my peeps are working for their money.  If I'm stuck with Peeps for a month it's gotta be worthwhile.

I'm feeling ok. I thought I was about 90% until I rode today.  I had been contemplating doing a duathlon this weekend to "makeup" for my issues last week.  Today proved to me that I'm definitely not ready for that yet.  I do have my bike vo2 test tomorrow though.

Yep, I recognized your Peep Show.

I was talking to someone the other day who had the flu six weeks ago. He said he's finally feeling well enough to start swimming again.

Flu. Ick. Fortunately, I haven't gotten it. I just about bathe in hand-sanitizer these days. LOL

I know what you mean Dee, but I just bathe in the chlorine I swim in all the time.  I somehow have not gotten sick, even with my parents getting it and being home with them, the school getting sick and me not getting it from everyone, being way stressed out and training a billion hours.  I must have one mighty immune system!!

What? Julie is bringing us all coffee, and Emerson has invited us to his house for a party??? Oh COOL!

I think my current Challenge team has me figured out... They've told me that if I train, I can have some Little Debbie's Swiss Cake Rolls.

Little Debbie's. Ummmmmmmmmm.

I have one too. All but one person hit 100% so, peeps it is.

oh, well. That is what we get for playing!

Same here.

But it's ok. It's just a cute little Peep. (Or it would be, if it wasn't smoking a Camel. LOL)

The penalty could be something a LOT more embarrassing. LOL (Believe me, when I organize the challenges, I try to keep in mind that *I* may end up with a penalty avatar! There are limits as to what I want to "wear." LOL)
