pdbman - 2010-03-16 8:26 AM Good morning Twisters!  I'm getting a late start today.  My son started vomiting last night and I guess I did something to the alarm when we went back to bed because we totally missed it. It was nice to sleep in but now will have to work late to make it up.  We have a call in to the doctor's office to see if this is something we should be concerned about.  Don't know if this is related to what he is already going through or if it is just a virus or something that is going around. I hope its the second of the two.

Poor guy.

tri808 - 2010-03-15 4:57 PM I'm looking at my goals and I think I'm going to come up short on the run.  The swim might be close if I can squeeze in a couple more sessions.

I really need to find a Sunday morning running partner.  I set my alarm every Sunday morning and lately it's been too easy to hit the snooze.  The tri group I ride with does run regularly on Sunday's, so I'll have to start joining them...although I think they're all too fast for me.  But the main thing is that I get my butt out there.

If you can provide transportation I will come and run with you every Sunday morning.

What do you need transportation for...you're in Seattle...SWIM HERE!!!  LOL!
hmmm, I'm not sure that my sighting skills are up to it.

I ordered a new bike through my LBS and I have been picking up pieces here and there for the build.  Finally brought him the last pieces last night after work (stem, seat post, and rim tape) so it is all set for build up today.

Saturday we are doing a maintenance class real quick, putting the chain on, aligning the derailleur, fitting, and riding her for the first time!  I cannot wait

It is a cross breed bike but one that fits all my crazy desires!

Awesome!

Hey teammates -
I am back from Chicago and I brought a nice flu/cold home. Figured that the attempt at a run on friday that stunk was the start of it and it just got worse.

I flew home yesterday and it was all I could do to breath by the time I got to my gate and today isn't much better since getting groceries this morning was a workout.

I am going to ask Dee if I can alter my run/bike goal - I should be able to do abs/stretching but I am not going to push the run/bike.

Sorry guys -

Stacie

Gonna do a tempo run at lunch, then maybe a quick ride after work.  It's pouring outside...so I'm guessing it will be on the trainer...actually, I might just use the exercise bike at work.

Rest up Stacie - it is only March health is key - Don't leave us - stick around for the fun to be had this month as we whomp up on those snobs from the East!!!!!!

No I will stick around - hoping to be back next week on the full schedule. Based on when it kicked in the usual time frame for me to have this type of stuff over by the end of the week.

Also I can learn a thing or two hopefully about post padding.  )

That looks like a fun bike. I wish I were getting a new one. Its looking farther and farther away as the medical bills pile up.
