It doesn't look like you can get WKD Original Blue Vodka in the US. MELINDY SEND US SOME VODKA!!! They sell it in Canada.

I technically don't have a choice...and its up to the girls to do it...we did hernias last week and the guys were too disturbed to do it...it was actually pretty funny to see their faces...taking a testis out...oh man Cool

I promise I will keep my scalpel away from yours though

Melindy, you sometimes scare me Wink.

I drove the route of my HM tomorrow. Damnation, there are some HUGE hills on it. there are a bunch or up and downs, two killer mile long climbs then the last two miles are uphill the whole way. I am going to pay for not training tomorrow. And of course, again, there are nothing other than whippets, gazelles, Arab horses and cheetahs running. I just hope they save some beer for Ms. Turtle!

Hopefully I don't get swept up by the street sweepers when they clean up the course.

Have great FFFFs Ghoulies.

P.S. Ann, you are right, no blue vodka in the US and there is nothing that compares that I can find. I am sure there has to be something but not at the little liquor store I went to.

I'm sorry guys...I'm just letting you know all the inner workings about the training of a doctor. Haha. All the nitty, gritty, details that you all probably think is TMI. I actually filter a huge amount out :P. (Well I'm sure Amy likes it all! Go ORGANS!!! Woooo!)

Don't worry about the gazelles, whippets, or Arab horse, run your race. If you go out too fast to try and keep up you'll blow up. I'm slower than a herd of turtles running through peanut butter, I just worry about me and my race.

Good morning Ghoulies!

The kids have soccer this morning so I'm going to run home from the soccer fields. It's about an 8 mile run. I'm doing 20 miles tomorrow, my longest run ever. If you don't hear from me on Monday come looking for me on the side of the road.

Thanks for the encouragement. I did not go. I spent the night last night with horrible headaches and sinus pain. After only about 3 hours sleep and hurting, I figured there was no reason to go. I am disappointed. I was actually looking forward to being a turtle!

Robin, sorry you had a rough night. Disappointing, but you have to listen to your body. You had surgery just a few weeks ago. Give yourself time to to heal. You'll know when you are ready to get back. I would suggest a mani/pedi today, or maybe just a lazy day on the porch and a nap. Ghoulie ju ju on its way.

Thanks Kim. It is going to be interesting here today. There is a Dirty Dancing festival going on this weekend. Trying to get out of town today after morning time is really out of the question due to traffic on our one road. We are two properties from where it was filmed and they are having loud festivities there and across the lake (which is pretty narrow here) is the town property where there are not so great bandS playing music all day and night. If I hear "time of your life" one more time I am going postal. They started at 7:00 this morning and I am sure they will go into the wee hours of the morning. {{sigh}}

Oh great, there it is again.... I'll .... have.... the time of my liiiiiffffe.

So my dad is mad at me because I don't want to go to this military formal function thing that he runs...I ended up making up a "very important med event" on that weekend in October...which isn't exactly a lie...there probably is a party. But I basically don't feel like going to sit by myself with my brother and his gf (my parents are at the head table)...so I'm not going...yaaaa.

So post ITU tri watching things definately went downhill..

Realised I forgot to bring my runners home from school...went to go get them...got a flat tire...shredded...was in a construction zone when it happened and there was nowhere to pull over...so ya...a nice man helped me put on the spare...

Drove home...got told to take tire to tire place to get new tired placed on the rim...got told that isn't happening today...

Went to get my shoes finally...stopped at MEC (=REI more or less)...to stock up on gu...didn't have the kind I wanted...bought some other stuff...

Went to the drugstore...pulled into the parking spot in my brother's car...which is bigger than mine...underestimated...scuffed a van...feel bad...no structural dings or anything...just rubber line from the front fender thing..exchanged insurance and stuff...bah. Had to come home and tell of my car mishap...

Bah. I just want to go to bed...but I can't...cause I started cleaning and then attempted to go running and was going to come back and finish...and then realised I had no shoes...didn't run today...now have to go finish cleaning...

ETA: I feel like an idiot.
