How are you feeling. I loved Ted's Tom's (Sorry, I'm insane) idea of emailing the RD with your story. I just worry about the concussion. 

Lots of lean protein, complex carbs and fresh fruits and veggies ok? And wine and cookies for dessert just to keep it sane.

Yesterday was practice for DH and my first tri.  Back is still an issue for me and son had a ball game at the same time so I told DH to go and maybe I could make the 2nd practice which is in three weeks.  Oh it was bad for hubby on the swim!  I won't go into all the details.  Last night,we formed a new plan.  Today we went to a state park with a lake and got a year pass.  I watched DH swim and I realize that this will be a much better training option than using our pool.  Can get used to OWS - murky water, wetsuit, siting, buoys, and (this would be big for me) not the constant reliance of touching the end of the pool every 42 feet.  I can't wait to get out there and try it.  Then in the practice, I'll get the final thing, the hitting, kicking, and clawing.

I will admit that I'm getting scared that this back issue will keep me from trying my first tri.  It's getting better but yesterday I tried running just a little and I couldn't get thru the pain for even 50 feet.  I do feel that it's getting better tho so I'm going to try to be patient and hopefully (fingers crossed) it will end soon and I can begin training again.  I've already resigned myself to the fact that even I make it to the tri and if I manage to finish, that will be my victory.  DFL trumps DNF and DNF trump DNS.

Thanks for letting me vent.  I'm the new kid and I don't want to be a needy nerd.  But it feels better to just say it all and hopefully this week will be the turning point in my training. 

Hey, forward me your e-ticket confirmation from the Marathon and we will pick up your packet at the expo on Friday. Unless you want to go to the expo...thought it would save you some time...it's got to be the email they sent you...

I did, I did!!   Yes massively saves me time thanks   def looking forward to this weekend with my buds.   As we do not want to "pants the poop"   HAVE to remember Pizza comes day after, not before..... after!     Club Lucky before  it's like tradition or something. K?          Yoooo  Mr. White!  (ya that does not fit this context,  I just like to say it)     

As this is going to be a tough tough Marathon for how little I am prepared, I've decided to not run in my Maniac gear this year.   I will be like incognito...    stealth like a ninja.  only the subtle glistening of the suns rays reflecting off my fuel belt with the 48 GU packs I will have or the trail of sports beans will give me away this year.    Not sure about that    My Maniac brethren will be like DAVE is that you???    Dave?  Dave's not here. 

The real question is will we find our way back to the Mysterio house after camping out at the 312 Truck in the finish area. 

Hang in there Sarah!   DO not underestimate the power of all the healing Positive vibes we are sending your way!    No worries  right now your job is to ROCK the healing process.    

And you are not a downer.  not at all.   But you know what.   It would be a positive step to be proactive about fixing/replacing moving forward with your bike. So its ready and off your mind as a "thing to do"  when you can resume training.   

Thanks Tom!  Been TOTALLY loving this season.    This might be the most fun as a Orioles fan I have ever had.    I do remember 1983  though  that was fun.  But NO ONE expected this type of season   no one.    And the thing is, it's been a total team effort.  One guy gets injured,  and some new hero comes along and picks the team up.  Been unreal.   

tonight so far losing 2-1   only two more games left and we are tied with the Skankees.  whoops typo there  heh   you know the MFY, the evil empire.   Would be so the miracle if the O's can take the AL East.     I'd say we will have to come back and take tonight's game to do it though   but like you said we will STILL be in the playoffs.    And yes no Mets  thank GOD!
