Master 2484 St. Louis | Subject: RE: Oriolepwr and QuincyF's Magical Mys-tri Tour "The Sequel" -On Tour!! fitmomma2010 - 2012-11-28 11:25 PM I'm a TBD at this point. Big changes at work mean I'm traveling just about every week for a while and working a bunch more hours. My training is taking a big hit. Hopefully I can turn it around in a couple months and still do triathlons next year. If not, I might just run next year.TLakatos1259 - 2012-11-23 5:27 PM Tom,I am definitely planning on going. I just have to wait and see if I can definitely have off work. We are getting computer charting and I am a trainer so they won't approve any requests for time off between January and May. So I'm crossing my fingers. I so hope that a bunch of us attend. I really would love to meet as many of you guys as possible. I am still majorly bummed about Dave not being able to attend although I certainly understand. Anyway, I am planning on attending. Hope lots of others do as well.ShellyOk, so the treddy I got from the EW is showing its age, ssoooo..... Instead of buying one, and since I needed to sign up for a pool location, I joined a fitness center today. Now I can swim, bike, and run all in one place. The idea of a monthly payment was still way cheaper than buying a new treadmill at the present time. Besides, I'll have a new job soon anyway. And the extra time will allow me to find my stride in balancing training and looking for work and maybe starting my nonprofit I've been thinking about. I have to say, kind of feel bad for you guys with young-lings, mine is 24 (ouch). I appreciate the coo doo's you all give me, but really, Ya 'all deserve way more hoo rah's, balancing work and family and training. I am really looking forward to Memphis, sign up opens next Saturday. So, who is still going? Add your name and repost Tom |

Veteran 345 Ocean Springs, MS | Subject: RE: Oriolepwr and QuincyF's Magical Mys-tri Tour "The Sequel" -On Tour!! Hello everyone!! I'm back from the dead - not as a walker (a little AMC humor)!! Anyway, DH and I have decided to register for Louisville IM in August of 2013, so my training will officially start in the middle of December. Historically not the best month for me for training, so we'll see how that goes! Tom, I am still tentatively planning on Memphis in May. Mostly it will depend on DH's work schedule. I'll be working at a free health clinic so I can take off whenever I want (what are they gonna do, fire me?!?!?) It's great to see everyone working so hard this month, without the pressure of an upcoming race. That shows a lot of willpower. Please pat yourselves on the back for me. I get no back patting, because I have done virtually nothing. However, my greenhouse garden looks great, and has gotten some much needed TLC since I have been unable to train. I hope everyone is doing well, and I'll try to touch base more often. I know I can really use the encouragement going into December!! |

Sarah, Since Dave will be AWOL (kidding) and the possibility of NO cucumber gatorade, maybe you can bring some from your greenhouse. I'm glad I finally made the list. I should be starting to swim next week. Tom

It's a long story, but i'm just about healed up from 2 vasectomies in as many weeks. I got a trainer for Christmas so i'm excited to finally start crankin out some rides. I signed up for the Grizzly Triathlon on April 20th. It is a local race that is hard to get into and i'm very excited to race in it. Last years winners were Matt Lieto and Linsey Corbin. It will be fun to SBR alongside some pros right here at home. I may DLF this one. I also had a HM next month but i'm nowhere near ready for it. Still not sure if im gonna give it a go or not. Well anywhoo, Look forward to keeping up with the tour again. Rock on.

Funny big V story here. So after the procedure you have to bring in a sample to make sure it worked, at least that was the procedure back in the day. Anyway, I was bringing in "the sample" in a brown bag lunch bag and on the elevator was asked if I was bringing my lunch to work. Um, not so much. To add insult to injury, it was a Friday and the docs don't work on Fridays, I had to bring in another sample. |
