There's this little business down the street where you go and prepare your own food and then freeze it till your ready to cook it. I actually thought about trying it once. It's kind of cool, their menu changes every month. We have a few of those here, too, though I haven't tried them yet... I've heard very good things about them, though.
Morning all...I'm looking back at what happened while I was sleeping, & I'll never catch up...
but I can tell you these services ROCK! My hubby has been using one while I've been away this semester and the food is good, moderately healthy, and so simple even a doofus can make them. (He's only managed to ruin one meal, and his culinary skills end at "Heat." ) Richmond has a ton of them, we investigated & are using My Girlfriend's Kitchen, which cracks me up when my husband has to go there. (And he gets his pre-made...just order & pick up - he refuses to stand around with a bunch of chics wearing an apron & throwing together ingredients. )
