Ohhh, tattoo sharing time... I have 4... and I will include an M-Dot when the time comes.  Mine are on both shoulders, across my upper back and the side of my right calf.  As y'all may know by now ~ I spent 6 yrs on active duty in the US Marine Corps... so 3 of the 4 are Marine related. 

I have to look up the Eye of Ra... since I don't know the symbol by it's name...  And yes, Nicole... what is yours ~ if you don't mind sharing that is.

Well its nice to see that everyone agrees on my subject.  I have talked with some of the locals about my situation.  My head running around in circles, getting terrible sleep, very negative thoughts, and hell I pretty much broke down to tears on Saturday night.  My "tri advisor" thinks that I'm not feeding myself well enough or correctly.  Looking back I can see when this all started and I can see how I slowly fell of the wagon with all the stuff you have to do to keep going (sleep, recovery time, mental recovery time...).  The weather around here isn't helping any either.  So I'm going to walk back up to where I started to fall off and get back to going.  Racing season has started to so I'm a lot happier now that its FINALLY here.  I'm well aware that its hard to start running I have talked to people that say it totally sucks to start.  I have to fight my inner critic a lot because I'm so new to it, and I know i will not come out of the gate as good as I want to be, its not possible.  So lets start again here!!!

the dotM tattoo is a must after an Ironman.  My tattoo artist and a good friend of mine who used to tri as wel.  After my season is over I'm going to get a some more ink this year.  I'm working on a half sleave on my left arm.  My guy did my first one for free for my birthday and I totally love it!!!!!  The picture looks like one of the wings is messed up but its not.  its perfectly symetcial.  I won't let anyone touch me but him because he knows what I like and is very damn good!!!

You gotta a race coming up!  You don't need to be exerting yourself... you gotta REPRESENT in a few days!  Otherwise, I would expect nothing less...

Hey Nicole... are you running away or is there something else (like work) going to keep you from us!  We will take whatever time you can fit in until you get through this tough time.  Just don't give up on training or your BT peeps, as we won't give up on you! 

Eric, nice to read you are getting plenty of rest between your final taper WO's... Way to calm the mind and the body before the big show!  Superstar!....  uh oh...new suit idea methinks!   

Aw, sorry guys, should have been more specific.

Because of everything that was revealed at work yesterday, my time on BT during the work day is probably going to be extrememly limited.  Unfortunately, the expectation to work at work has gone completely thru the roof and in order to hit my numbers moving forward I'm going to have to be a machine... but luckily I will always have to play "hurry up and wait" (like right now) and should be able to check in from time to time.

I'll bite.

March was actually a pretty solid month for me training.  I got back in the pool a few times, I got over the fear of riding outside and got the bike out there a bunch.  I'm starting to get my road wheels back and feel more comfortable.  I still fall over every single time I try to stop, but it's me, I'm clumsy, and I'm okay with it.

I've built a noticable amount of endurance on the run, and am also continuing to get faster.  I've also found the confidence and desire to do this race, which is a good thing.

Not to mention the HIM I signed up for.

So all in all, March was a good month.

April is going to be even better.

Wow...end of the month already! 

I don't have much of an assessment since I was away for two weeks and it took another week to get my body back on track.  But.... I started off the month with a bang by setting a new 5k PR.  I'm in my second week of my HIM training plan and loving it.  I'm getting myself to the pool 3 morning's a week and pushing myself through more speed work and long rides.

Happy April 1st everyone.  If you play any good April Fool's jokes on friends or family, post them!   

I'm terrible at coming up with stuff, but husband is usually pretty good.  I'll let ya'll know what he gets me with this year.
