I went to urgent care one night and they told me to start acid blockers. My doctor said to give them at least 4 weeks. Pain has been bad for about 2 weeks even on the acid blockers. I'm going back in tomorrow. Jen - its all coming back to me now. This is the issue they thought might be a hernia? Yep. First a hernia, then an ulcer, then maybe a problem with my gall bladder. Eventually they decided they couldn't do anything. It came back earlier this year and it's much worse. I was hoping it was a stomach bug, but I think it's the same problem. I have an appointment tomorrow. |

Hopefully people actually want to join my group. Not if you still are having those pains. Meanie butt See, Jen agreed with me. LOL Mostly because I'm tired of everyone writing the pain off. I've had it on and off for the past year. Last year, I had a whole battery of tests including ultrasound, colonoscopy, endoscopy, HIDA scan, etc. and they found nothing. Now it's back. Been on acid blockers 6 weeks, which worked before, but not anymore. I'm so sick of this. 8 weeks ago? I went to urgent care one night and they told me to start acid blockers. My doctor said to give them at least 4 weeks. Pain has been bad for about 2 weeks even on the acid blockers. I'm going back in tomorrow. I was trying to put it off until after my exams and my cousin's wedding the week after. Looks like it's not going to cooperate with me. It really is a bummer that you are having to deal with this again. I hope that this time they can get a handle on it for you. Will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. |

So far Ive been at work about 20 miutes nad I already have 2 eggs on my desk! Ive lost about 26 pounds so far but havent really lost any since my race in January although my body shape has changed. Would we need to be nice to one another? I have to admit -- I've gained weight. I actually weighed less last year -- despite eating so much junk food. This year, I'm not eating junk, but my weight is going up. Bleh.
I would like to loose about the same about again for starters... then I would still be about another 20 poinds away from my ideal weight! Its probably because you have so much going on right now... With all the werk yuo arent quite as active... well you have been but that past months have been tough... Its ok... Im sure you will get back on track Add in thyroid issues... and metabolism slow-down... (and age, too - since I'm obviously not a teenager anymore! LOL).... and who knows if I'll ever get back on track. |
