Last time I saw her she almost had me in tears when she was working on my hamstrings, but when she was done I felt GREAT! Tonight and tomorrow I am going to run on a treadmill. No hills and a little easier on my aching body. YEA! for the appointment and good idea on the treadmill. Maybe you could make a routine appointment with her. Yeah... I was thinking this may have to be more of a regular thing instead of an every now and then thing. I know because of my spine issues I really do need to do core and leg strength training. I have started that this week, too. Confession time --> I thought I could just slide by and run, and not have to take care of myself. I was wrong. Other than yoga I hadn't done much besides run. I have done a lot of reading and research lately and I realize now if I want to keep doing this I am going to have to take care of the total package. Cross training, strength training, stretching/yoga, I will have to routinely do all of it. I don't want to be sidelined permanently at the ripe old age of 37. I WANT TO RUN A MARATHON!!! EXCELLENT PLAN !! I think I'm going to have to start yoga up again too...when I did yoga I remained more or less injury free...no yoga...azz injury...I tend to not stretch unless I am forced in a room for "stretching" time. I feel this is a good plan...when I go back to Edmonton...post 70.3. I feel this is a good plan for you too |

I am wondering if the lack of yoga is why my hamstring is bothering me so much this week? |
