rnihill - 2010-10-18 6:32 AM I didn't make any cheesecake or cookies this weekend...  but I did make 4 apple pies with the girls while my hubby was off fishing on Saturday.  We froze 3 for later in the year and have one to eat now.

My wife started bottling pie filling a couple of years ago so now all we have to do is make up some crust, dump in the filling and throw it in the oven. Very tasty. I love pie and ice cream. I love anything with ice cream. Who am I kidding. I love any kind of dessert. Especially if it includes ice cream. Speaking of which, I have to stop at the store on the way home. We ran out of ice cream yesterday. I was nice and shared it with my neices and nephew yesterday.

QueenZipp - 2010-10-18 10:02 AM Still talking to yourself, Paul?

Yep, but I'm used to it. The strange looks that I get from people when they realize I am talking to myself don't even phase me anymore.

pdbman - 2010-10-18 12:02 PM And I won't say anything about the crap he's he's throwing around on the Crusher thread. He must have forgotten that we are the GHOULIE Crushers and the month isn't over yet.

some has star envy I think - LOL

Hi Paul - good luck on the search but at least you are searching out of desire and not need right?

I don't have star envy. I realize that sometimes a persons star count drops temporarily in the quest of building up a good star count.

Running out of ice cream is a major problem ....needs immediate attention.  Perhaps I should go buy ice cream and take the day off to make sure it gets to the proper destination?  (my stomach vs my freezer)

Wow that was crazy. Only part of the post was displaying. I go to edit and the rest is there, it just wasn't displaying. So here is the rest:

Yeah, I currently have a job but it doesn't have many opportunities for the future and my skills are stagnating, which isn't good in the computer world.

dewybuck - 2010-10-18 7:50 AM morning Crushers.....hope everyone had a good weekend, I was very happy Saturday, got my long run in 2 weeks before the Marathon, I ran a 22 miler paced it around 9.40/mile.  felt really good....now it's all about TAPER Laughing

I have 2 weeks to get in the pool, do a few small runs and that's about it...the important news......I hit my target for the month on the run side.  Cool

Way to go on hitting your running goal and good luck on the marathon. That's exciting. I'm feeling guilty that I didn't get in a marathon this year, it just wasn't in the cards.

Speaking of illnesses, I convinced my wife to go to the doctor Saturday. Bronchitis, sinus infection, and fluid buildup in both ears. She's feeling better this morning after a couple of days on meds.

Just got an email that was a pleasant surprise. I hadn't even thought about it with the economy but its coming up on BONUS time. I'm sure it won't be a lot but every little bit helps.

I don't know why I'm feeling so tired today. I even slept in this morning. Maybe its too much sleep. Maybe my blood sugar is low and I need a little pick-me-up.

Yes! Yes I am!

I had to sleep for 16 hours after my 30-minute swim yesterday, but overall my energy levels are up. (joint pain levels are a bit up too, but they're just weird. it's okay!)

Speaking of which - I saw blueberry poptarts at 7-11 yesterday so I put them on my shopping list.  Not paying their prices Yell

Hell no. Not at 7-11.

You don't want to know what I had to pay for Pop Tarts in Jakarta, though!

Hey, I ate a CHOCOLATE pop tart tonight--first time ever! A wonderful devirginization!!!!
