I don't have an answer to your question, but there's nothing wrong with wearing cowboy boots if you like them (and I do) but they're still somewhat of a regional fashion statement. What I found a little annoying about wearing them down in MS is it gets so darned hot they're uncomfortable except during the fall/winter (or, if you're out riding horses with jeans the rest of the year). I sweat a lot, and there's nothing more gross than sweaty feet in boots, at least to me. LOL! Now THAT is an entirely different issue! And I couldn't agree more!!!!! LOL! My bad boys have been throug he!! and back with me. Mainly dress boots, but I've beat em up quite nicely. Actually need to get them re-soled. Anyway, I've found that a combination of a really good pair of socks AND powder is the only way I can keep from the funk invading my boots. And I do look dam good in my boots if I (and so does my wife) do say so . |

Now, I'd be really impressed if you ran a marathon in 'em I have enjoyed seeing older women wearing nice (not cheap, but nice) cowboy boots with designer jeans this past season... I wonder if its in style for this year as well? That ain't happening any time soon. OUCH! I love em, and all, but no thanks. They aren't necessarily the warmest boots I have either. As for women, cowboy boots are the style no matter liking country or not. And i agree with you on the look. Yum! |
