I will run in the dark, in the cold, in the heat, in the snow, and in light showers, but torrential downpours with lighting involved warrant postponing the run until later. Same storm hit here this morning. I did get up, however, and go to yoga. It's a weird class called zero gravity yoga. Lots of inversions. Not one to take if you have a hangover. I am still slightly light headed and I only drank water last night. I thought about getting up to do the P90X yoga, but apparently my husband and son could both hear the TV yesterday morning when I was in the living room. I didn't want to wake them and I knew the video rockers and some toys were on the floor in front of the TV in the basement and I didn't feel like cleaning that up. |

Ann, come to yoga with me anytime, although I'm not sure I'll keep going to zero-gravity (I bought a couple classes on Groupon). My flexibility and upper body strength are laughable, so yoga is really good for me. I used to go to Bikram yoga (hot...110 degrees hot) and thought it made a huge difference in how I felt. Really, I should just get a couple dvd's and do it at home. The extra 60-90 mins is a dealbreaker for me right now as far as P90x is concerned, but I like Neal's idea of a winter break. I think I may focus on swim and strength training next winter. |

It is definitely hotter and stickier now than it is when I run in the mornings. Time to go get work and workout clothes ready for the morning. I'll be calling you all so there will be no hitting the snooze alarms! RUN YOUR AZZ OFF TOMORROW! I'll be ready for my call! PS. You have quite the imagination these days. Just sayin. It's not just these days, it is always there, I just usually suppress it. You can choose to suppress imagination? I wish I had that skill. There are a lot of things I would like to say, comments I could make on here, but I refrain. None of it would ever be said with malice, but I don't want anyone to take anything the wrong way and be upset. Even in the real world, I refrain from expressing much of what comes through my mind. The people around here are too narrow minded and too stuck inside the box to understand. In Ann's world there is no thinking inside the box. My imagination is awesome sometimes...it makes reading exceptionally exciting...but on the otherside I can overanalyse anything... Race visualization? Ya...I stopped doing that for a reason, its not really suppressing because I just don't so it anymore...I've learned that when I think about something too much, rather than just doing it then I normally do less than optimally. Clinical exams, races, any performances, speeches, etc. I've psyched myself out one to many times on really important things and then performed poorly. I am in general around a lot of out of the box thinkers though...haha |
