We've gotten a total of 58" this year - but a lot was from a big storm in Oct then it melted.

Base is only 26" at Brighton.  THat's why I'll be in the bar.

I'm not even sure if I'm going to ski Wed, and that's a free lift day for me.  All but 3 Wed's b/t now and mid March I go to work on the mtn.  I bring up kids from the valley that are off-track from school up for lessons on a charter bus.  While they are in lessons I get to head out and ski for free.  Of course I'm attacehd to a radio or cell phone for injuries and other issues, but usu. is a great day.  Now you're really jealous aren't you

Well, I can tell you something that's NOT going to happen tomorrow morning. I can just imagine, a bus full of half-dead, coffee-deprived adults going to Folsom. Oh joy.

BTW...

Almost made entire Nov goal...missed weight goal by .4 pounds... scale has moved me from 164.4 to 159.8

At least I'm finally getting under 160.  135 by May!!!!  It's on the way!!!!!!!

OK, Nibs...I need some help on something.

Today my normal spin instructor was gone and the sub was a guy I had never seen before ('cause organized classes are not my thing, and he usually teaches the cardioboxing-type classes). Anyway, halfway through class, I realized why he didn't look right to me...

He had hairy forearms and legs, but starting at his elbow he was hairless, completely (and he was wearing a tank top...so I can only speak for his upper arms & shoulders). It looked like he was wearing furry gloves.

It would be like if I shaved my thighs, but not below my knees. ????

Why would this be? Is it on purpose, for some reason I can't begin to fathom because I have a tiny sheltered brain? I mean, if you're going to dehair your upper arms, why not the lower? Is it a disease? Should I feel bad for him?

It bothered me the rest of class.

Please, shed some light and make me feel better.
