FWIW - I LOVE the 'Peep Wars' concept.... No no no. Was that a "no" to running the next challenge, or to Peeps wars? |

It's so much fun. We're going to have a Peep fun day in the lab one Friday. Mostly because some of the people in my lab haven't done anything fun with them. Since Ive never even seen one in real life I now HAVe to find out if anyone imports them over here.... I can send you some. Sounds to me like they would squish and melt? Pretty much. I assume they wouldn't survive the shipping. Edited by Artemis 2008-02-19 7:22 PM |

Exploring an American supermarket with a credit card and a big trolley is high on my list of one off expereinces... (and Im guessing judging the food Ive heard about peeps, LDs etc it would be a once off as I wouldnt be able to face all that processed stuff again!) Edited by kaqphin 2008-02-19 7:24 PM |

I'm sure that NIbbs would be happy to give you a lot of input. LOLkns57 - 2008-02-20 11:07 AM kaqphin - 2008-02-19 6:02 PM So in the challenge, we don't have to do the same mileage the tour guys are doing, do we?kns57 - 2008-02-20 11:00 AM Yeah! It seems lately that when I do drop by I end up talking to myself. What is happening in July? hehe talking to myself is definatley becoming a thing... tis nice to not feel like a lonely Nibb... July = Tour De France = challenge... oh and me getting about 4 hours sleep a night on average as I stay up to watch all of it live (nutty I know) Not at all... last year I just did stages.. so how many stages you wanted to ride (workouts of whatever length) There were a lot of suggestions made to pull it more in line with the tour but I dont want to make it too complicated either... its going to require some thought! haha when the time comes.... Im just wondering whats going to happen March - June... Dee have you got ideas or are you and Beth going to want some help? It seems to me a spring challenge could be kind of cute nad fun.... the chocolate bunnies, baby chickens etc.... Would be funny to see how people could make those things vicious! Have fun! I am not running the March challenge. Unfortunately, I simply do not have time. The last two months have been an absolute nightmare for me. I'd hoped that it would get better by March, but my boss informed me today to expect even more work during March, April and May. |

Dee they are still working you too hard.... what would happen if yuo just worked normal hours for a few days? Would the world really fall over? It wouldn't be pretty. That's for sure. I don't know that they'd fire me, but I definitely would get written up and yelled at by several people. I've been told that this is "an unusual circumstance" and that I need to be "flexible" and "do what it takes" to get everything done.... But if this doesn't get resolved by May (ie, we can hire a new person to replace the one who left), then I will probably go find a job elsewhere. So, either way, it'll be resolved by the end of May. *shrug* |

Yeah, I'm fine. As I said, it'll be resolved in May, regardless. Besides, this is Nibbs. It's not a place to whine or gripe. So break out the LD and Peeps and party on. (If Kristen were here, she'd tell us which wine goes with Peeps.) |

Now wine... well peeps are really sweet right? So what goes with sweet thing? Champagne? Last month, someone suggested a point system, where you have to run AND bike AND swim. It looked interesting, but it might be difficult to keep track of everyone's progress with all the points. It was something like 1 mile running = 1 point, 1 mile biking = some different # of points, 1 mile of swimming = yet another # of points. |
