Hi there Team WCP&T! Hope everyone had a good start to the week. I've managed to get in a swim, bike, and run so far. Other than that I'm a bit of a mess. I've got racoon eyes from my "no sunscreen at the football game" incident. The sunburn is now turning into that sexy peeling, flaking skin. And I've been a little lax with leg shaving. Last night at the pool was like an episode of Swimming With Sasquach. I'm definitely pouring on the sexy this week! |

It seems the Air Force wants me to go to Afganistan tomorrow for at least the next 10 days and then I might be able to go back to CA. So I will see if I can get some runs while I am there but I do not think that I am going to be able to get the rest of my swims in. But; no worries I will try to get them in ...... Bleh! That's not happy news. But, you've gotta do what you've gotta do.... As for the challenge, we can revise your goals if needed. Or - we can just taser Blake for every workout that you don't do. What the...?! Yep. I'm a giver, huh? |

Master 2201 Elgin, | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Ok, so I am not a big fan of running in boots and utilities, but since the Marine Corps has established a new Combat Fitness test, which consists of a .5 mile run in the above mentioned boots and uts, I decided to give it a try today to see how bad it was going to be. The minimum time for my age is 3:47. I made the mistake of thinking I could sprint the hole distance and didn't bother trying to pace myself. I managed it in 3:15. I am a much better runner than 80% of the people in my unit, so I forsee many people struggling to get a passing time. This is going to be an interesting year or so, while people get acclimated to the new test. |

The others are 30lb ammo can lifts with a 2 minute time limit, as many as you can get. 47min-97max. And a timed manuever exercise (basically, obsticle course of sorts), I don't remember the timeframe, but it is around 3:30min-2max. |

I mean, if you can kill the test, shouldn't you go as high as you can? Oh, wait, it's the military. I'm going to join Dee waiting anxiously for her answer from the AF while I wait for this one... |

A very quiet yay to mila who is hopefully sleeping. It made me tired just reading about her workout. Then again, I boycott Blake's log because he makes me feel like a sluggish little lazy bum. I think we should taser him because he works out too much. |
