Subject: RE: THE SLAYER RULES-FULL UpOnline coaching is what I have been coached by more or less for 5 years. I did hire on site swim coaches here and there as thats the big issue/limiter for me. I like the structure/accountability/sports psychology element of coaching. online coaching is fine from both the coach and athlete side. the key is good communication on both sides especially on the front end as the goals are clarified and the structure of weekly training and the annual training plan/racing schedule emerge. daily input and give and take are key too. all told, i see no reason it won't be effective online and I have had major breakthroughs with online coaching. my athletes are doing well too so i think its nothing to fear. just make sure you get your money's worth and let us know how it goes!
