Wow Jen!!!!

What's your trick to knocking down the list so fast???

Guess I better make mine...

op, wait... gotta geaux to a meeting... I hope today's is short... I still haven't gotten to my voicemail yet

Break it down into really small things so that I get to cross things off fairly often.  Sounds silly, but it actually helps quite a bit.

not silly at all - it does seem less daunting that way

BTW to update my post from last week on the Philly Marathon - I am doing it.  My wife's cousin lives up in Westchester County, NY so we can there and I will drive down early on race day and they can all head down later on to watch me finish.

I need some motivation to get my running going.  I almost died during the race last night and it was only 6K.  Time to turn some bicycling time into running time.

And it will all be good because the kitchen is 95% done with the final 5% to be done by weeks end!  Yippee!

yaaaay!

when is the race?

Thanksgiving weekend.  I can do the local 8K Turkey Trot for a final run on Thanksgiving, we are driving down on Friday, rest Saturday, race Sunday, drive home Monday.

I am excited about it.  Buffalo was so small (under 1000 runners) and I want to experience a big city race before I try and BQ on next year.  Because if I make Boston that is going to be a soaker inner.  Take my time - enjoy the atmosphere and finish where I finish!

that should be fun - I think I'll probably be in St Louis over Thanksgiving - that's what we're thinking as of now anyway

Kristen, have fun in the bay area. I do love the bay area, but not enough to go back and live there at their prices.

Beth, good luck on the apartment hunting. Hope it goes better than the house. But since you know it is temporary you will usually be able to find something quicker than when buying.

Jen, I took the collars off my cats. The older cat was really freaking out. She was shaking so bad and that was after she managed to already get her collar off. She then heard the other cat coming and just freaked. So I took the collar off the other one (who was actually doing okay with hers.) Took hours to get the older cat calmed down. She was hidden way in the back of a closet.

Hi Kendra!

Poor baby.  Our older one freaked out a lot more the first time.  It gets a little better if you try again.  We also only put them on when they are going outside.  That doesn't help too much if they get out, but it makes our lives less miserable.

kns57 - 2008-08-05 3:10 PM Bill, yea on getting the kitchen project almost done and for signing up for the Philly marathon.

Thanks for all the support during this project from H*LL.  I know where they got the title for that reality show - H*LL'S KITCHEN!  It is in my house!  It wasn't that bad, but now I know why I paid someone to do my addition!

So I am slowly closing in on 2K.  I am guessing tomorrow depending on busy Nibbs is or Thursday for sure.

Time for my What I learned - 2K Posts practice.

TinkerBeth does not like getting cattle prodded!

Dee enjoys cattle prodding anyone/anywhere!

And when Mila shows up, watch out for the little pink whip.
Don't forget Cat and fishnets. Inspiration
And Pom poms, more inspiration for the guys at least. LOL

I saw her shopping at The Country Tractor Store looking for new cattle prod over the weekend (JK).

I have not seen her since last week at some point!

After The Grand Tour she disappeared.  Maybe she ran off with VandeVelde?
