A little trivia question for the team -

What is your favorite guilt-laden snack?

I'll start - mine's a toss-up between Peanut M & M's and the original Doritos Nachos chips.

1stTimeTri - 2008-10-03 11:49 AM My Forerunner 305 even has this "new car" smell!  *getting giddy*

Well, not actually a new car itself, but, I think you know what I mean.

Nice self reply Did you say you were a recovering pad-aholic, because you don't seem recovered to me!

I bet that somewhere in the next few pages I'll find out who Phil is blaming for his tumble off the wagon

From TinkerBeth (a number of pages ago) -
"Phil (1stTimeTri)- a recovering pad-a-holic, who has fallen off the wagon (big time!)  - Hey Phil, it’s not our fault – hehe."

You are baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad people.  I was told to not hang around with you, and then look what happens!

wow, that didnt' take long at all!

Dark Arts notes – 10/05

Apparently size does matter, when it comes to profile pics – make sure they aren’t to big.  Placement is also important as team members compete for TOPPAGE!! (now, now – get your minds out of the gutter, it’s all about post placement – if you are the top post on a page, you get TOPPAGE!)

Beth is once again getting blamed for the high post count, funny thing is that Phil, Kendra, and Kristin are definitely leading in the post count. In fact we got a play by play as Phil met his Garmin for the first time.

Some discussion about what we all did for first jobs and minimum wage, Kristin posts from her blackberry and Melissa from her iPhone – I don’t know about the rest of you, but I’m jealous

Phil (1stTimeTri)- got his Garmin!  w00t w00t! (Phil, did you wipe the drool off your face yet?) Be sure to check out "Wow! Wow! Wubbzy", Phil says you’re sure to ‘wuv’ it!  Phil, that’s sort of koooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooky  (ps – Phil, have you told your wife about the GARMIN yet?)

Steve (AccidentalChef)-  Hi Steve!  He made it to the thread (what took you so long? )

Melissa (BunnyB) – spent Friday stuck in spreadsheet hell, she may have more than a love for gadgets in common with Phil.  She got some TOPPAGE during her quest to reach 1K (Melissa you are so close!  You can do it, this is the challenge only 19 posts to go).

Emily (esc) – didn’t fall for the ‘trick’ and resisted the temptation at Starbucks – talk about willpower!  Another station wagon fan – she and her friends used to play an interesting game – who can spot the ‘woodies’ first (station wagons, station wagons! sheesh what were you thinking? )

Cat (kaqphin)- woke up to a big surprise (or not) of many, many posts – Phil’s overjoyment with a piece of mechanical equipment, Kristin drinking wine on the train – she has a three day weekend and is trying to figure out how to get a ‘buzz’ while walking (perhaps Kendra could give you some tips – she did take vodka on her hike after all

Kendra (kns57)- has been out doing PR on our behalf with the other teams.  So far Kendra doesn’t find TOPPAGE all that exciting (I’ve never gotten it, so I don’t know). Kendra is offline for the weekend – she and her hubby and some friends are going hiking

Beth (lastcall2003)- had a really cool powder blue wood paneled station wagon in HS, Kristin – I love your quote “Sports and fermented beverages go beautifully together!” – remind me to tell you about the ‘Taco rides’ sometime

Matt (mdb) – took some time off from reading the thread and was a bit amazed at how much post padding team camaraderie there is going on

Judi (QueenZipp) – Judi wins the prize for the ickiest job for minimum wage – yes, we can certainly understand why you are now riding the pine desk.  Her daughter’s should be very askeered – she ended up having to do both bathroom and litter box duty for them.  According to Judi, it wasn’t as bad as looking for UFO’s in the fridge.

Kathrin (ratkat) – Poor Kathrin with no E, apparently her parents were duped into paying for her name by the letter……………the vowels must have been more expensive

Travis (tlnewman)- questions whether or not it is worth reading every post {GASP!!!!}, although makes a good point that if he’s reading he’s not posting…………(we must teach him the read and post technique) – He got in a WiiFit workout (does that really count?)

Sharon (zeefraugtries) – her leg is feeling better and she has a 15 mile run on tap for Saturday

Kristin (LazyMarathoner) – such a dedicated team member, Kristin takes multi-tasking to a new level as she helps increase our rankings in the post count from PT, while in line at the Sample Sale, while packing…….. just about everywhere it seems!  Kristin went to a sample sale – hmmmm I’m now wondering if she’s told the ‘real truth’ about how she hurt her shoulder – if anyone is wondering, it takes a lot more than 3/4 bottle of wine to get this girl tipsy.

Ps
What is it with the clowns?!

well, I could get all defensive about your sarcasm font.  But it really was just a fluke cause I was trying to get below the other posts when it submitted blank.  However, I realize I'm dealing with a serious pad-aholic who would never believe me so there's no sense discussing it
