I think that's a possibility.  My other thoughts are having a cold or needing to get thryoid medicine levels adjusted (I haven't had them checked in about 4 months).

I wish I was in a position to do that  I really shouldn't complain though.  With all that's going haywire in the economy, I actually got a 4% raise yesterday.  Being that I work on the bad news side of the bank, I figured my job was very safe, I just didn't see that coming.  I'll certainly take it

It sure is rough out there, I'm very thankful to have a job - and thankful that I left my previous company - I'm sure I would have been one of the unfortunates that were laid off last year

That's very cool!!  Congrats!  Still waiting to see if my husband gets one - he works for a credit card company.

We're still looking for unemployment for Mrs. Sesh, though.  Tough going so far.  On her last day in Memphis at the radio station, they laid off 10 people in her building.  It wasn't quite the going away lunch she was hoping for.

I bet that is some interesting work right now.  Really, this is the first time a huge segment of the financial sector workers have seen anything like this.  Back in the 80s with the S&Ls is really the last time it was like this.

I visited the local library yesterday!  Picked up a George Washington biography.  Think I'm going to try to read, in elected order, a biography on every Prez.  So that's 43-Cleveland+soon to be Obama=43 biographies.  I'm either going to get really into it and finish much quicker than I expect, or I'll make it to Jefferson and give up.  At least there aren't any new Harry Potters coming out to distract me.

I actually really love biographies of famous people. Let's see, of the presidents I've read a few ... Washington, Franklin, Lincoln, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton ...

I think the biographies on some of the presidents are going to be really short. Like Millard Fillmore.

I do have this huge book on the Rockefellers that I bought for $1 at the Boston Public Library when they were having a book sale.  I kinda want to get started on it, but I'm avoiding the temptation.  I tend to get into 3-4 books at a time and I end up finishing none of them.

Ah, but it is better to have started and delved than not to start at all

Whoever said you HAD to finish a book, anyway? And the thing is, if you really want to ... you will.
