i am SERIOUSLY still BUZZING from that SPIN BOOT CAMP last night.

it took me like FOREVER to fall asleep.

i tend to avoid evening workouts for that reason.  i really have a hard time settling down after a workout.

but last night ESPECIALLY.

the workout, plus the fact that i need to go and have a 'sit down' w my inlaws today.

not that im 'scared' they are by far the least intimidating people on the planet.

they are NICE in Andy Griffith Mayberry syrupy sweet sorta way.....which in the situation is an advantage.

though...

i always come to find out later in some convulted way that they really are harboring lets say anger, but they never express directly.

so.  in that respect. it should be a FUN conversation to have.

i'll be setting the 'tone' moving forward.

though it didnt work out for J. and I to stay together, its my hope that we continue to stay connected and that i will be 'invited' to take part in holidays, dinners, special events for the 'sake' of the kids.

my family has done a MOST EXCELLENT JOB reaching out to J. through all of this because they know its what i want, and they know its whats best for the kids.

we'll see if i can get Ma and Pa on board as well.

wish me luck GHOULIES.
stacieb

Best wishes to you Stacie with this.

Are you going to do this alone, or is he going with you?

Remember that after the talk, I'll meet you at the cute guy bar and buy you the beverage of your choice.

thanks ROBIN.

thats sure to cheer me up.

these conversations are never easy with them, not because they can be difficult, just mostly cuz its soooooo hard to get them to communicate 'openly', its like pulling teeth.

i'm gonna NEED a drink.

Ghoulies

I have a confession

I have never had a Krispy Kreme donut

I have on several occasions had people tell me they were going to take me to the store and get me a fresh warm donut

It has never happened

And I'm not losing sleep over it

I'm not really a fan of donuts to begin with

Unless they have chocolate and maybe some sprinkles on them

That is all

i was signed up to spin this morning at 9.

but theres no way in heck.

im gonna take a leisurely morning and see how it goes...

then decide if i want to head down to the city and take that yoga for cyclist class then get my bike

or just go and get my bike early and take it out to park for short/easy spin just to see how the new frame feels.

or.....i just might go back to bed.

Stacie - you had said earlier that you have problems sleeping when you workout late in the evening. You are not alone. I have the same issue, so do others that I've read about.

That was part of my gripe about my hours changing. If I get my HR up it takes too long to come back down. I have found in my own personal experience though that a glass of red wine helps me unwind and sleep.
