givemashot - 2010-05-19 2:12 PM Guess what? I found out that bonktown.com has a brick and mortar store a mere 25 minutes from my house! Maybe next time I'm driving hubby to the airport I'll have to stop in there (it's between my house and the airport).

I didn't even know they had real stores. I already spend way too much money there! I wonder what their prices are compared to the listings on the website.

I think there's just the one. It's at their distribution center. They won't let me pick up my order, but I can come shop in their store.

Nice. Their shipping is not the fastest anyway.

Did your husband's gift arrive in time for the weekend?

Nope, it got here Monday. After I left for work, even. I saw the UPS guy at the gas station down the street, called home, and hubby had already opened it! LOL. He liked his new short sleeved bike jersey (his first short sleeved bike jersey).

Color fun shapes in the 8-year old's hair. Because it's the cool thing to do. And he's the Fun Dad. Then you rinse it off a little before you go to bed so that (supposedly) there won't be any excess to rub off on his sheets/pillowcase. My daughter had a green streak, and a purple streak. My son had a red swath around his head in a U shape. And he didn't want to go to school until I re-did it. He was in a such a mood that I refused. I told him he should have dad help him with it. I had nothing to do with it the first time, I wasn't going to fix it, especially when he was throwinga fit about which jelly I made his sandwhich with. *Oy*

And when I called hubby at work so he culd get a taste of what he caused by letting him color his hair and stay up wayyyyyy too late, he hung up on me. Such is how my day started out.

How did that deep breathing thing go again?

Nope. And I wasn't with him, or even on the phone with him to hear his reaction when he opened it. But he sounded truly happy with it, so that works for me.

Haven't heard about color fun shapes, but...

I know about the Fun Dad thing. He is pretty good about getting the kids to bed on time though. Our daughter couldn't stay up until 10 if you paid her. Since she was a toddler when she is ready for bed SHE IS READY FOR BED! She gets cranky when she's tired so we don't mess with that. My son can stay up late, but he's a bear the next day then.

The cure for this is to go out to lunch or order a pizza!

For future reference, red sharpie can be mostly removed from light colored flannel sheets with Goo Gone, tide, and oxyclean. I hope he likes the color pink, though. Cuz I dunno if I can get the rest of it out.

Nah, he knew it was for him. I told him UPS hadn't delivered it yet, and that it would be here that day. I just figured it would be delivered during the day. It had been in Salt Lake since Friday morning.

Possibly my parents. I just tried to call them, my dad's at lunch with his buddies and my mom's on the phone with her elderly aunt who she is caring for. Possibly my sister could. But she's surrounded by 18 or so preschoolers at the moment. I am losing my cool right now. Seriously. It just isn't my day today, I guess.

WHAT?!?? No, I didn't get to go back and catch up. My hubby decided it was a good time to sit down and talk to me. And then my kids decided to show me how they were colorig their hair with sharpies all night while I was gone. Mind you, it was 10 pm by then. On a school night. This morning was ugly for the mom in the givemashot household. Yell But Ann(e), you just gave me a light at the end of the tunnel. I MUST go back and read!

Sorry to hear that Amy. Come out here when the KimK family comes and the men and kiddos can go do the battlefield thing and the three of us will go do something fun!

That sounds like HEAVEN!!! (will there be scantily clad HAWT pool boys bringing us our frosty salt-rimmed drinks while said "family members" are on the battlefields?

Have I mentioned how much I hate my hubby's schedule? I can't ever have any plans without changing them or adding undue stress to my life.

givemashot - 2010-05-18 11:44 PM wow, we're back to some of what we usually do. I'll be back after I cacth up!

You never came back. Did you get lost thinking about margarita's, cute guys, and Tom in no uniform?

It's like you don't even know me at all!

THERE WILL ALWAYS BE SCANTILY CLAD HAWT POOL BOYS BRINGING US OUR FROSTY SALT-RIMMED DRINKS!

Speaking of... I wonder if Tom is in uniform today or not.

Not yet, but I'm just about to go hit the shower and change. Just trying to catch up quick first. Good afternoon everyone!

Take your time there. You don't want to rush and miss a spot.

Need someone to wash your back?

Couldn't hurt. Come on over! I'm heading in there right..... NOW!

Ooh, I bet I could beat Ann(e) over there! I'm closer to start with!!
