Well, why don't you give him a summary?  Oh, you'd rather I would?  Ok, happy to oblige.  Melindy is going to Vegas for 2 weeks, shortened to 5 days.  She claims that there will be no naughtiness during her visit, but we know that is just not possible.  Not in Vegas.  We also have good intell that Neal is taking a short flight over from Iowa that same 2 weeks, shortened to 5 days.  They are pretending they now nothing of each other's plans,  but we've caught on to their ruse.  They are cute.

People are always shocked to find out what happens at a public library.  They think it is a safe place, because it is a library.  They seem to forget the "public" part which means that anyone, perverts and all, can come into the library.  Luckily, I don't have to deal with very many perverts or homeless, but then I get the babysitting duty for middle schoolers.  And all parents think their kids are "angels".  If they are such "angels" then why don't you let them go home when you arent' there?

It is amazing that any of them make it alive. I have to teach a couple of a days a year at middle schools. In my opinion, tasers and cattle prods should be standard issue.

The real Vegas story: My friend and I are attempting to go to Vegas for 5 days in the last two weeks of Aug because I learned that I finish in the lab on Aug 13 because my supervisor is moving to the mainland to Vancouver to teach/research at Simon Fraser University. So now I have 2 weeks before school starts to do something!! She is working on her younger brother (who is her boss) on getting the time off. We are excited to go to Vegas!! **crossed fingers

I'm going to register, but I'm not 100% sure if I'll run. It will depend on MCM recovery.

I am still trying to decide. Money is tight but the DH decided to do this "run for the state house" and I am thinking I need equal time for what I want to do as well. We had a huge argument about my running the St. Petersburg 1/2 M in November. Even though I signed up for it after talking with him and him agreeing that it would be fun. (I won that one, I was going alone, now we are both going )We are camping at a nearby state park so it isn't that expensive. We can drive in a long day. California is gonna be more money. Still, I can get miles for most of the cost of the flight(s) (if DH comes along).
Sigh. I have to make a decision soon.
