kns57 - 2010-08-10 12:32 PM What's for lunch (besides any bones)?

I just had left over pasta from last night's dinner.  Penne with broccoli, asparagus, a little garlic and red pepper, plus some feta.  Yum.  I have more and am happy to share.

Sounds awesome!  I'll be right over.

I even have some pink lemonade.  Will be here waiting for you Kendra.

I love pink lemonade!

Well I'm out of the lab for the day. Got quite a bit done. More to finish off tonight...I just want it done.

I'm debating what I'm going to do tonight...my body is grumbling at me...who knows...maybe I will listen to it today? Prob not...I might do an easy run after dinner. We will see.

Well I'm off. I have a skype date with a friend who is in AU right now in an hour! Got to get home! Excited to talk to her!!

So quite the frustrating doctor's visit today.  X-rays were negative which is a good thing.  Doc seemed to think it could be impingement that is causing the pain and wants me to see an orthopedist.  Bad news is I can't get in to the ortho until September which is far too late for diagnosis.  I'm heading back to the PT to see what her opinion is.  Right now I am wondering how much fitness I would lose due to 6 weeks of inactivity - lol

I'm pretty sure we could work out a rub down exchange.  I've missed enough work with these doctor's appointments that I might as well just go to Canada for the rest of the week.

You make it sound like such a hard choice? Haha.

Or you know...you could work the rest of this week and take the "rest" of this week next week...in Las Vegas...

Just sayin.

Impingement of what? The inguinal nerve?

Hope PT has some suggestions for you.

Not sure.  My doc didn't even show up to explain the x-rays to me. (Did I mention the trip was FRUSTRATING)  My best guess is Femoroacetabular Impingement.  Still doing my research.  That or groin tear or pull and the treatment is REST so I really can't go wrong....

Ah. femoroacetabular impingment should typically present with pain that is more anterolateral than the groin...but I guess it could radiate

I'll look it up too. Wooo med databases.
