We had a good night last night. Had a bonfire and friends over. I love cooking over an open fire.

We had a hayride and the kids played. We didn't come in the house until about 9:30.

I am warrior dashing today. I'm not running it hard. I know my friend is, but his foot isn't bothering him and he isn't running a marathon in 3 weeks. I'm just doing it for fun, and for the warrior helmet.

This must be the day to sleep in.  I overslept and missed the sorority girls serving breakfast 5k I was going to run.  I did manage to drag my butt out the door and get a run of my own in though.

I must say that I am surprised at how much I enjoyed watching Kona yesterday.  Since I just started paying attention to triathlon at all about a year ago, I just hadn't ever watched any.  Perhaps because of my small taste of training I have the slightest idea of how much they have accomplished!  I did thoroughly enjoy the show.  However, I would have like to see and hear a little more of the AGers.

When they do the regular broadcast in December, maybe they will show more AG?

A little more.  They will pick out 3 or 4 good human interest stories out of the AGers and follow them throughout the day

Hi Ghouligans! What a beautiful day. I volunteered at a local race that is a fundraiser for the Visiting Nurse Association. I was a course marshall, so after the last walker came through I walked the last 2 miles back with them. Nice. One was an injured former marathoner, the other was a 70 something woman who won her age group. Had a nice time chatting with both of them. My legs are still a bit tired, so the afternoon was spent in the magic pants.

Definitely. They always have some human interest stories that make me cry. And I'm not really a crier. Well, except for animals, old people and babies.

Wow! You either really had too many road pops last night or seriously needed some sleep. Good that you got a run in, but not as much fun without the finish line motivation.

wgraves7582 - 2010-10-10 6:32 PM I came to the realization just now I have more athletic socks than dress socks, more wicking shirts than dress t-shirts, more cold weather gear than dress clothes, and way more sneakers than dress shoes.

A customer of my wife says I look like a distinguished geek - I wonder if that is a compliment - she meant it as I look like a CPA not an Italian Mobster she pictured my wife with.

I am almost certain the answer is YES. Send me photos to confirm.

Supposed to have thanksgiving dinner tonight...apparently my mom got called into work for OT again...so it got bumped to tomorrow...this would have been nice to know this morning...or yesterday...fail on communication in my house...

Its going to be a movie night again I think. Haha
