Back in the office today. Everything is all set for Zoey's celebration of life on Sunday evening. We are supposed to get 6-10" of snow - hopefully we get 10" personally so I can keep snowbike riding! When we had such beautiful weather last week my kids thought that winter was gone. I told them it was too early yet to stay warm. We had 6" of snow on Monday night and my son went sledding Tuesday afternoon. I hope you get your 10" of snow. We are supposed to get heavy rain and strong winds. People are like that around here. I have daffodills booming and had the windows open.It is still warmish here but it is FEBRUARY. We traditionally have had our largest snow storms in March and even April. Folks can't seem to remember year to year. I look at the nice days as gift days and try not to grumble too much when Ma nature byach smacks us. Snow is definitely more fun than rain and wind! I can remember on more than one occassion getting 3 feet of snow in March. The few warm days were nice, but winter isn't over yet. blah blah blah blah....stacie says with fingers in her ears. frankly, im in DENIAL. early spring it is. THE HOG WAS RIGHT!!!!! stacie Good luck with that. (She says gently turning your head away from the window). as only someone from somewhere SUNNY and WARM can say. LOL.  stacieb I have time this weekend to go crash Robin's. I'll pick you up Saturday morning. sounds like a plan. ROAD TRIP!!!! Thelma and Louise style, minus the drive off the cliff.... stacieb Definitely minus the driving off the cliff part. Too many kiddos at home that need their moms. oh damn. you mean we just couldnt keep driving to hit ANOTHER sunny and warm place. we HAVE TO turn around and go home??? BAH! stacie Well with cell phones and laptops we could keep in touch with the kiddos. So we wouldn't have to go RIGHT home! |

We are going to leave Thursday morning and drive down, so we'll get there Thursday late afternoon, early evening. That gives us Friday during the day to hang out and do whatever. There is a 5k on Friday night and that's when all the festivities start. Saturday morning there is a kids event, and a sprint tri. Sunday there is a 10k or a bike race up a big hill.
