Well, I have a more casual Bern helmet that I use for commuting. It's great but not the most aerodynamic piece of equipment. 

But my road/tri helmet is a joke. I bought it when I went to Australia like-geeze 8 years ago??? Anyway, pieces are falling off left and right. The visor is currently rigged on with two hair ties.

Okay, so I'm the worst namedropper/backdoor braggart ever ... but this is really about my idiocy (and that my sister's the one who can actually drop names, but never does).

It wasn't until I saw Fatboy Slim as the centerpiece of the Olympic Closing Ceremony atop a giant fluorescent inflatable octopus that I realized he was NOT just one of my sister's DJ friends that she brings into the country for snits-and-giggles parties.

Well, structurally I think it's sound! 

First off, that was so badazz!!! They inflated that thing so fast! Shoot, I can't even get an air mattress inflated that quickly when I am camping. 

Second, I love him. I remember being really angsty in HS and listening to his album over and over in my room hahahaha.

Anyway, that is very cool. I want to go to one of those parties and white-girl dance my azz off. 

*I had no idea he looked like an extra in Weekend at Bernie's. Don't tell him I said that. 

You know that's the first thing I'm going to tell him when I see him next ... he'll think it's hilarious and he's the right generation too. And yeah, he always dresses like that.

Anyway, I told my sister I want him for my 40th. That's 40 on 5/16/16 so mark your calendars. Never mind the Mayans ... if my sister, Salty and I are in one place at one time, chances for an apocalypse are excellent.

First I need to know what you mean by "want him." 

5/16/16!!! The trials will have already happened and I will be free to be irresponsible (this of course indicates that I am intending to become responsible in the next few years) OMG this sounds like the perfect storm.

After three years of consistent wear the foam degrades to the point that it wont hold up to an impact.  Get a new helmet.

I don't usually take orders from the men in blue but since I'm in a pod of lawyers...yes sir! 

HAha sorry might have been a little blunt, pet peeve in my unit, one guy actually took a header on the bike cracked it mostly in half and continued to wear it for over 6 months before I noticed.  His response when I asked what he was thinking?  "Well it worked the first time..."

Hahaha, nah, I need blunt. 

Gosh, and I was trying to be all nice and make a little, quiet suggestion.  Shoulda known.
