In the last couple of weeks I have heard some stories from his childhood that I had never heard before. pdbman - 2010-03-17 3:28 PM How's your dad doing today? And how are you holding up under the stress? My dad is doing poorly...his blood oxygen levels have been low.I am doing alright. My family has been dealing with my little sisters severe health issues since I was in grade school. We have know how my dad's condition would progress for the last 5+ years and we actually didn't expect him to make it as far as Christmas 2009. |

I remember my wife spent time with her grandparents collecting stories before they died. It was great. She recorded it all but unfortunately one of the tapes was ruined so some stories were lost. |

Furthermore... your prolific BT logs are jamming up our servers, so the I.T. department respectfully asks that you significantly decrease the volume of your workouts. Heck, it's St. Patty's day, so why not just take the rest of the month off? Rest is nice. Rest is good. Grab a green beer and blow off that workout. Triathlon training is REEEEEALLY hard. Maybe do some bowling or some basket weaving. I think this is a good idea |

How far did you have to drive to find a sunny hillside for your avatar picture. They don't have too many of those in Seattle. That picture was actually taken from my parents back yard on Labor day weekend 2008. I was installing a Solatube (skylight) with a friend (you've got to do a home improvement project on labor day you know). I am sitting in the attic with my top popping through a hole in the roof. And yes, it was sunny. |

My dad told me some of the stories from when he was growing up. He should have waited until I was a little older before he shared them with me. I used them as an excuse to do some things I didn't have the guts to do before. Apparently he learned his lesson because he didn't share those same stories with my younger siblings. I still don't think he should have gotten mad at me for some of the things I did. I didn't do anything that even came close to some of the things he did. |
