If I have anything going on with my chest, I do no work out or a very, very easy one. Head stuff onlye, I'll do what I can. If I am really tired, I assume I need some rest and that comes first, then a workout. |

Depends on what I'm sick with. Head stuff, and I can still breathe, easy workout, probably no swimming though. Fever or chest stuff, no workout. I agree with Robin. If I'm wiped out and feel like sleep, I'll sleep. This past weekend I pretty much did nothing. I had a sore throat, trouble swallowing, and was diagnosed with some upper respiratory junk. All I wanted to do was lay down, so I did a lot of that. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are STILL doing Ironman distances this month!!! Thanks, guys. I have a cold that is trying to get into my chest. I woke up during the night 2 nights ago with a productive cough. I'm ok for the most part during the day. Scratchy throat, minor asthma flare. The problem is that I've been so fatigued anyway for so long due to the vit D deficiency that I can't tell if I want to go back to bed because of that, or because my body needs me to because of the cold. plus, I'd like to sleep tonight. Anywho, it's really nice outside right now. And I already had 2 rest days in a row. But if I get really sick then I will set myself back, and I can't afford that right now with my tri less than 4 weeks away, and being undertrained as it is. I think I'm going to go veg on the couch and watch TV and eat my sandwhich. |

Take care, get comfy on the couch, watch a good movie, take care. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are STILL doing Ironman distances this month!!! I'm heading out. I think I'm going to stop and get groceries on the way home, despite the torrential downpours. Store shouldn't be busy, right? Later tonight I think I'm heading to the pool. I think. I have a lot more energy than I had last week, but still a bit of a couch, and sore throat. I could just do a little time on the trainer, too, so I don't have to go out in the rain. Time will tell. |

That's because I'm biting my tongue/fingers Oh! now I am biting my tongue!!! Do Not say a thing Robin! Spill it Robin. What were you going to say? Oh, just something about being a meat-eater.......... Here's a story for you vegetable eaters. My daughter is 6, she loves vegetables. I'll take requests for dinner, if I don't know what to make. Friday night she asked for corn, peas, carrots, and potatoes. So I made some mixed vegetables and rosemary potatoes. Saturday night she asked for the same thing. Last night she was down at her grandparents with my husband. Usually on Sunday evenings they'll order pizza. She doesn't like pizza, she doesn't care for bread. So grandma made her vegetable soup. Last night when she got home I asked her what she had for dinner, and she told me vegetable soup. I told her she was going to turn into a vegetable. She looked at me for a few seconds, then in a tiny little sheepish voice she said to me "that isn't really going to happen, is it?" I laughed and told her she was safe, I was just playing with her. It was just so cute the way she said it. Oh, that is a story for the memory books. |

People are not accustomed to us being open on Sun & Mon yet. So, I have been busy trying to spend the last of my budget for the year. Don't use, you lose. |

Enjoy, my brick tonight will be eating finger food followed by wine. Spend that money! Our budget is the same, except we don't have any money left over this year and they are going to further cut it by 10%. Wish we could have banked that extra money from years ago. Have a good evening. |

Take care, get comfy on the couch, watch a good movie, take care. I'll add that by not resting you risk lengthening your recovery by stressing your immune system, in the end leaving you with less time to get quality workouts in. I vote for some quality rest! |
