Go Sarah Go!  Yep, lots of bad stuff like frost warning and hills but you will still kick butt.  As for the chest cold, I know it's a beoych but you'll beat it too.  My marathon PR is still from when I had a headcold and was so p!ssed that I just kept on going.  You will do the same.  Go Girl!

I thought about every single one of you at some point today. During the swim, I kept thinking about Jax and "flip the switch." No panic attacks at all! Granted, it was pretty slow, but I did it!!

Quincy, I kept thinking about you and your ironman, and I just don't know how you did it. Truly amazing!

Dave, I thought about your advice with the bike, and it really saved my legs.

Pink, I thought about you finishing your first tri yesterday, and I smiled for the last few miles!!

I'm sorry I didn't mention everyone, but I really thought of you all, I'm just in a brain fog.

I have a terrible chest cold, and had a pretty bad asthma attack at the finish line, and now I'm a bit loopy on cold meds.

I'll do a race report later, when I am more recovered.

Wow Sarah! Tremendous job. I'm impressed and inspired.

I like what Shelly said about Sarah's performance.  It was a great race any way you look at it but especially so given the bike accident.  Sarah is a rock star!

Loved your report, Pink, from your first tri!! Congrats on a great race, and I'm really impressed with your swim. I know you are upset that you stood up during it, but I can assure you, I would have been walking/crawling if my feet could reach the bottom!

Sarah, it is so funny that you realized that the walking was the one thing that is bothering me about my tri.  I really wish I hadn't touched down because it feels like cheating.  'Course the other women were running on the bottom and they completed the "swim" long before I did so maybe I should have been smarter.

Great RR on Austin.  Both you and our hubby did great.  We were tracking both of you during the day and were very impressed - even before we found out the tough conditions.  One thing tho, you were a lot nicer about your FIL catchng you spitting on video.  I would have hurt him with the camera; of well, I'm thankful that my husband and his parents are both so technologically challenged because they can't catch me like that.

I forgot to mention the bike aid stations in my RR! Nailed it! I only took gatorade from the first station, since it was so cold and I already had two bottles on board. It was just like you said, Dave and Mike. I thought about you, Mike, after I got the bottle, and your comparison between being nervous about bilateral breathing!! It made me laugh, because it really was pretty easy.

So what's on the race agenda for the next couple months? Is anyone racing before the new year? I'll have to get on the ball for 2013, but I'm pretty sure it's going to involve a full IM. I think DH and I are going to try to register for IMFL on Sunday at noon, but not so sure we're going to secure a spot. Dave, are you considering Louisville? That might be on the radar if Florida is a no go. B2B is always an option, as well.
