Thanks...I don't like to declare war on people who are going to care.  So I declare war on people I know won't care (for the most part...I screw up now and then).  I wish more people would start wars...I really want the achievement and I can only do about two wars per day right now...at that rate it will take me another 150 or so days to get the darn achievement!  You DO get credit for assisting in your own wars, BTW.

I think I have an extra heart tattoo...I put out a plea for one and then didn't check FB for a few days and ended up with two...if you put it in your wishlist and publish it I will try to gift you that tonight.  If it's not in your wishlist I will assume you already found one.  You are Kevin Mackell, right?  I forget sometimes who people really are...

As for my "price", maybe just try to check out my wishlist and see if you can help.  I put several of those items you have to have friends help you search for I think.  I also don't have an Irish Flag yet though I think I will get it when I master the featured job...I'll find out tonight!

I think the Irish flag comes from the 5 minute job. It took me about 12 tries to get it.

Thanks for sending the heart tattoo - that achievement is complete so now I can sleep at night again!  I checked your wishlist, and I don't have any of those things yet.  Haven't gotten into that aspect of the game yet, still working on bangkok 5a right now.  I'll keep checking your lists and feed you something when I can.  Thanks again

The whole declaring war thing seems like a waste to me, especially since most of them are over in 2 minutes or less.

Remind me of this next time we go on a ride & we're near Windhaven.

Does anybody have a guide about where your character should be in terms of attack/defense skills per level? I'm at L81 & I have 182 attack & 217 defense. Is that good?

 It depends.. on what you are trying to do..

I think everyone has a different opinion on what to do with points. I put all my early points into energy so I could do jobs quicker and level up faster. then started dumping them into defense, since I didn't do much fighting, I figure if I had more than normal defense when I would get attacked they'd lose and go away.

If you hunt around on FB there are some pages with different ideas on points, and what people have at certain levels

I do a little bit of everything, though I guess more than anything I'm doing jobs & fighting(& robbing now).

So, robbing is back.  I'm not sure how they are calculating who wins.  I have tried to rob places marked "moderate" and lost.  The only ones I consistently win are the "easy" ones.  Does anyone know how it works?  Also, does anyone know if there is a way to protect your own properties from getting robbed?

Dammit.  I was hoping they woudn't bring it back this soon.  Crap crap crap crap crap.

I didn't get to check it before lunch and now I have to wait until much later tonight.  I'm at $830B or so...as soon as I get the $1T achievement I'm going to leave it in the bank until I am ready to work towards $10T with the boss fight.  I wasn't planning on working on it until I finish moscow and bangkok.  I just hope I don't get robbed too badly until I get the $1T in the bank...but I swear that's going to take at least another month....

Robbing is 100% different in this new form.  I dont fully understand it either, seems like I win or lose randomly?  Dunno.  I usually wait for dicarlo to look it up in the forums and then explain it to me .  It doesn't seem like you are actually robbing a specific person's properties so for those of you that are working on your $$ achievements, I think you are safe.

I was able to rob everything on the grid except two, this is a message that popped up when I lost ..

For those not as far along in the game, they also mention 'growing your mafia' as a reason.

even if you have 500 mafia but only 200 weapons for them only that 200 will be counted in the fight or have a high attack value, same for a vechile and defense type weapon, ie body armor.

when you start to get the higher value weaons, cars, body armor thats when you can beat people many levels higher than you if they are just completing jobs and moving up levels,  this is why I'm still cashing in my business in Moscow since they have some decent cars/body armor and buying it .

Yup, you essentially outfit your mafia.

OK I didn't get to dig too deeply into the forums yet to see what the scoop is, but I did mess around with the robbing thing last night a bit...first impressions:

1. Wow, that takes a lot of stamina!
2. I like the idea that when you just click on the robbing page you can essentially only rob each person once...in order to rob someone more than once you would have to click on their name and do it via their profile.  I haven't tried that yet...didn't want to make anybody mad.  The forums said people would somehow know if you robbed their propety.  I apparently have not been robbed yet or I can't figure out how to know if I was!
3. The forums made it sound like you can only rob people's properties that are uncollected.  As in, the money doesn't come out of what you have in your total, it comes from uncollected properties.  And when a business is first ready to collect you can't touch it...it's only after it stays there awhile that you can rob it.  Does that make sense?  Anyway, I think this is good news for those of us working towards the $$ achievements.  Once you collect from your businesses the only way you can lose that money is via fighting.
4. Interesting that it doesn't matter how many people are in your mafia..you can only rob with the number of people the job says.  What I find here is that I'm learning how many "good" weapons and such I have...the more mafia a group is allowed to bring the worse I do...which means I don't have enough really good weapons.

So, at the moment I think I'm OK with it.  I won AT LEAST 50% of my rob attempts.  But I haven't been putting anything into attack/defense lately since I just jumped over to maniac and didn't have enough energy to absorb 24 hours of energy refill.  Once I hit enough energy to do that I'll start putting more into attack to try to win more robberies.  And I guess there is actually a reason for putting points into stamina now!  There never really was before!

Sh*t, I guess I need to start buying some weapons or something. Any suggestions on what to pick up?

I wouldn't buy them.  Go fight somebody, then on the results page click on the "view all items used".  See what you used for weapons/armor/vehicles.  Then google which MW jobs provide those specific items as loot jobs and go do those jobs over and over and over. 

Duly noted. I went and bought 100 Tommy Guns before reading this, but I'll try that as well.

If you also have a little patience you will acquire weapons as you play...higher tiers require you to buy more stuff...jobs loot you things, etc.

I'd sell the Tommy Guns...don't they cost a lot of upkeep?

For some reason, I'm not getting charged upkeep. At least I don't think I am, I'm not seeing it anywhere.
