Morning, NIBBS.  Looks like snow in the forecast, and we'll get the big dumpage by Sun.  That always makes it so fun on the Mon. commute  to work.

How much snow did you get?

Not until later.  We get these "traces" floating in the air.  We're waiting for the big hit starting tomorrow morning (Mon.) some time.

Oh that's nice. Just in time to mess up the commute to work. Plus, the schools will have to decide whether to cancel or risk being stuck with hundreds of kids running rampant in the cafeteria....

My car hasn't been started since last Tuesday.  I am letting it warm up for 15 minutes before scraping it the rest of the way.  Does that mean I am smart or lazy?

Since I don't know if your car was in the garage or outside, I need to state "I SURE HOPE YOU DIDN'T LEAVE THE GARAGE DOOR(S) CLOSED!".

The idea of idling the car for that amount of time piqued my interest, so I found this -

I am guilty of running the car for about 2 min. so that the heater warms the windshield, making it easier to scrape the ice/snow off in the winter (when my vehicle is parked out in the open at work)

Smart and lazy aren't mutually exclusive. Sometimes, being lazy is smart.

My work schedule needs to change. This whole thing about leaving for work while it's still dark outside, and then getting home after it's dark again -- well, that just has to change. Bleh. Can you say "vitamin D deficiency?"
