Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: Run your azz off in July Ghoulies!!! Since Bill made a confession I will, too. I had a laundry basket completely filled with socks. I had been procrastinating sorting out this basket but I finally did it on Monday night. I put away over 100 pairs of socks. 60+ of them where what I term "athletic socks." After I put them all away my husband carried a basket of white clothes into the bedroom from the laundry room. It had a lot of my socks in it. My dress/work socks are all something with a color or pattern on. I won't wear just plain colored socks. I also had a pile of socks left over that I could not find the mate for. Yes. I have a problem. |

How many bikes do you have now? Come on Robin - don't ask that question!!! Ummmm - 6 I think Let's see I try to forget but I can count real quick with an explanation Raleigh One Way - Single Speed/Fixie - Was my commuter but I really should sell this. The only thing stopping me is that I should set it up Fixie and do some training on it to make me stronger. Felt Breed - Single Speed Cross Bike - Just a sweet bike that was relatively inexpensive and I have a hard time parting with this one because I throw slicks on it and it gives me a great road workout on a single speed Felt Niner Elite - 29'er Mountain Bike - This one stays unless I upgrade and then I will let my son have it in a couple of years. Bianchi M.U.S.S. - 26" Single Speed Mountain Bike - My winter snowmobile trail bike - This one stays also even though it hangs all summer long (or at least until I put it back together and clean up the brakesd. Masi Randonneur - Touring Bike but I am converting it to my speed bike for some races Salsa Vaya - Commuter/Adventure bike - this one is staying also. Has my racks/fenders on it. It is my go to daily bike unless I feel called by one of the other. So I could replace the Bianchi or Raleigh with this bike and keep it at 6 or do I just increase to 7 Mrs. Graves will not be too happy but they all get used more than my car does! And they all use way less gas! AND cost less than a car. |

I do enjoy a crisp new pair of socks to run in though. |

I gotta get on that, I thought I had until the weekend. I'm going to register, but I'm not 100% sure if I'll run. It will depend on MCM recovery. I am still trying to decide. Money is tight but the DH decided to do this "run for the state house" and I am thinking I need equal time for what I want to do as well. We had a huge argument about my running the St. Petersburg 1/2 M in November. Even though I signed up for it after talking with him and him agreeing that it would be fun. (I won that one, I was going alone, now we are both going )We are camping at a nearby state park so it isn't that expensive. We can drive in a long day. California is gonna be more money. Still, I can get miles for most of the cost of the flight(s) (if DH comes along). Sigh. I have to make a decision soon. I did St. Pete last November and that is an awesome course. You will love it. Be sure to go to the Dali Museum. It was awesome. |

I have gone on that many trips...just they are normally to places like Calgary...and Saskatoon...and Winnipeg...less exciting...haha All of those destinations sound exciting to me. Guess it depends on what side of the boarder you live on. |
