crowny2 - 2011-06-13 10:43 PM Morning TAN.

Did my good deed for the week yesterday on the way home from a race.

Saw a guy walking with his bike over his shoulder just down the street from our house so we stopped, loaded his bike on top and drove him to his house, which was another 2 miles away.

Sweet. I would expect no less from you, though.

Looks like we both were good Sams yesterday ... was he carrying his bike b/c broken chain or something?

Flat tire.  Brand new to biking.  After talking to him, he over inflated it at home and then went for the ride.  Blew out the stem.
Naah, just a little ice cream.

Snerk!

I was hoping someone would catch that by the punchline. Honestly, I had Yanti or Cord FTW, but Crowny chimed in first.

It is a Major Junior team (I never understood that term...). This kind of team very rarely survives in "major markets", especially in this league. Sad, but hey, life goes on. Now to find another job in sports somehow... Maybe this time paying? haha

Are you wanting to enter the sport and leisure employment market?  I have some schooling in that direction but current job has that market on hold for a couple more years

I'm leaning more toward the professional sports side of things over sports and leisure. I think I'm going to go back to school next year for some education in sports admin or sports marketing. Maybe sports law?

Ideally, I'd love to work front office with a pro sports team. Theoretically, in personnel, but anything to do with sports will keep me happy.

I took a sport law course.  It was VERY interesting in some of the product liability issues we talked about.  I prefered the arena/facility management side, but pro sports does have appeal too.

Honestly, I think I'd be happy doing anything within sports. It truly is my passion, so if I could wake up every day and know that I am going to do something, anything, involved in sports, I think I would enjoy it.

ESPN is on everyday when you wake up. This fulfills the need you speak about.

Oh, and curling is NOT a sport. You Canucks think anything involving ice is a sport. Not in this case.

Curling is a GOOD excuse to go drinking with buddies. I wouldn't consider it a sport. It is a very fun game, and very difficult.

Also, I don't get ESPN up here in Ka-Nay-Duh. It's TSN (The Sports Network) up here.

What does ESPN stand for, anyways? I've always been curious.
