Expert 852 Evergreen, Colorado | Subject: RE: Election 2016 Originally posted by spudone So just slightly OT: I do. I live in Colorado, in a county that is often a toss-up. Trump was here campaigning yesterday. Kaine was here a couple weeks ago (BIG crowd). It's a rare person in my town who admits that they will vote for Trump - even most of the Republicans I know are voting Hillary or Johnson. And there are a lot of people here who love Hillary. Obviously, your mileage may vary depending on where you live. I think it's very unlikely Colorado goes to Trump though. |

I have a good friend who is a computer forensics guy at the local FBI office. Might have to take him out drinking to see what insider info I can get out of him. hah We did talk last week and he said that everyone he knows inside the FBI was absolutely beside themselves at Comey up to this point (pre-Weinergate). He said their job is to investigate and send evidence to the DOJ. The DOJ decides who to prosecute and not the FBI. He said the original Hillary deal made no sense at all and violated virtually every FBI protocol. From what I've gathered wading through the weird parts of the internet is that the NYPD agents working with the NY FBI agents on the case found emails between Huma/Hillary that were egregiously illegal and if Comey didn't bring it out the NYPD would have. Also, Wikileaks is moving into phase 3 which everyone suspects is primarily deleted emails. If some blatant illegal ones pop out, Comey will be in a very bad spot. Obama promised us that his administration would be the most transparent administration in history. Wikileaks is making that happen. ;-) |

The Police have no reason to be fans of hers. It doesn't surprise me that investigators in the NYPD would have gone forward with information they had regardless of what the FBI did. Add to that the great relationship between Rudy G and the NYPD and Comey panicked, knowing he would look like an idiot. (this is not hard stuff.....Law Enforcement officials put self-preservation foremost) You had to figure something like this would come out before the election on HiIlary. I know it would be awesome if it all just wasn't happening now, but when you hire felonious people they tend to get caught eventually. I can't tell you how many crazy things I've seen over the weekend speculating about what's in those emails, but what's crazier is how many of them are believable. The most far out one was an NYPD insider saying the emails show the Clinton Foundation being a cash front for a pedo ring funneling people to Epsteins pedo island (which Bill Clinton really did visit dozens of times). The craziest part was that I went... Hmmm, I could see that. #BestElectionEver

History will show the fall of the Clinton Crime Family attributed to the arrogance of power. When you continually get away with stuff, over and over and over again, you begin to believe your own lies that you are untouchable....and then you get sloppy. WSJ reports 650,000 Clinton Foundation Emails are being looked at. Finding the smoking gun(s) will be like looking for a needle in a stack of needles. But eventually, if there are any, they will be found. Then what? If Clinton is elected you would then have a president or president-elect under federal criminal indictment? Talk about a banana republic! |

But the Republicans were very quick to point out that he is innocent until proven guilty. This is in the face of actual evidence (verbal statements) of criminal activity. Unless someone can point to an actual allegation of wrongdoing or any criminal charges against Clinton in connection with the new emails, the Comey announcement is simply that additional emails were found that may or may not be relevant. But Republicans are treating this like her corruption has finally been validated. Trump even said it was worse than Watergate. Based on what?! For the record, I am not anti-Republic, just anti-Trump. |

But Republicans are treating this like her corruption has finally been validated. Trump even said it was worse than Watergate. Based on what?! For the record, I am not anti-Republic, just anti-Trump. That's just politics....and pretty much everything else in life. When your rival is getting hammered you jump hammer. When you are getting attacked you bob and weave....attack the attacker. Democrats threw Comey under the bus.....after praising him for months! Reps are praising Comey after throwing him under the bus for months. Personally I think Comey is doing his best to remain neutral. I'm not an attorney....ok, enough bragging. So I have to rely on legal experts to say whether they think charges should have been brought no not been brought based on what they found. Likewise, I have to trust Comey that is did not drop this turd in the punchbowl right before the election simply to stir the pot. My gut tells me he senses something huge that had the potential to send HRC to jail for a long time and feels he owes it to the American people to let them know they found a laundry basket of stuff. Media keeps saying he has not read the emails so he doesn't know....really? Are you that email stupid? Open MS Outlook. Click on the inbox, then sort by "sent by" then sort by date. So now you see that you have 21,431 emails sent by HRC. Now narrow the date to search to "after xx and before yy" and you find 13, 669 emails sent by HRC to HA during the time she was Sec of State. Copy the Subject lines and dates and put in Excel. Do the same for the emails you already have. Then do a compare and Excel will spit out the number of emails with different subject lines and dates telling you exactly how many new emails you have. C'mon, this is not rocket science....... |

Master 5557 , California | Subject: RE: Election 2016 As usual, all speculation. I agree Comey was out for himself. But the problem is that he just gave hints to the Republicans in Congress to get headlines rolling, with nothing substantive for Clinton to even try to defend herself. Especially since this isn't even Clinton's email. Also I have yet to see what was in the text of the warrant (anyone have a link?)
Edit: the original search executed on Weiner's computer was because he was suspected of being involved with someone underage. If that warrant was specific to him (which is usually the case), then anything related to Clinton would have been off-limits. Which is why I am wondering how it was worded. If that warrant was specific to him (which is usually the case), then anything related to Clinton would have been off-limits. Which is why I am wondering how it was worded. Your first statement is false, the letter was written to the chairs and ranking members on the committee which were both Republicans and Democrats. Hillary and Podesta tried making that talking point on Friday and got embarrassed and quickly dropped it. Mook even tried to spin it on Sunday saying they just looked at the top of the page and made a mistake. You are correct about the search warrant scope. The NYPD and NY FBI were going through Weiners computer with their warrant looking at his porn stuff. They then saw there were 650,000 emails on the computer (that's a lot of weiner porn) and noticed that several were to/from Hillary/Huma and contained something very damning. They took it to the boss and the evidence was so overwhelming that he knew that his only choice was to let the cat out of the bag. There are reports that Huma's passport has been revoked which would be an indication of there already being enough evidence that she committed a serious crime. Total speculation on my part: They either found obvious classified information in the emails or even worse finding classified information and additional emails telling her to destroy the evidence. Weiner is also looking at serious time so I suspect he's singing like a canary to save his bacon. I'd be curious if Huma would flip on Hillary. There's almost no way Comey doesn't come out this week and say something. |
