Master 1303 Mishicot, Wisconsin | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS Hey everyone! My week is officially over which is absolutely wonderful! As for the earthquake...my mom felt something that woke her up this morning early in Green Bay WI which is 3 hours north of Chicago. That is a little nuts if you ask me! Glad everyone is okay! Any questions about the new guy from all my mom's, go ahead and ask...I'll answer the best I can I am hoping to see him this weekend... depends on if we can get our schedules to mesh. My heaviest training week is almost over and I have done my longest run to date (1:30). I am tired and sore and actually might go to bed before 10 on a Friday night...what a party animal I am |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS Hi All! I've been busy at work (what else is new), so I haven't been working out, OR playing on BT. Julie and Emerson - those pics are great! Looks like everyone had a fun time! Julie - welcome back! Fantastic photos on your blog! Congratulations to your brother! Loved his new tattoo too! (Even though he can't swim for awhile because of it.) Amy in IN - hope everything is OK after that earthquake! On TV, they showed some pictures of buildings with cracks in them. Greg - how are you and Steph? Pam - have fun with the new bf! |

Extreme Veteran 504 Tucson, AZ | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS Always good to hear from you Dee. It was definitely inspiring to watch the athletes at IMAZ... If was a real treat to meet Julie. She is the real deal. I don't know if I will ever complete an ironman. It takes hours that seem to allude me. I will start with a 1/2. But seeing all those folks gutting out the run was an amazing thing. It is a real statement as to the human spirit. Be well all! Flying back to AZ in the AM. I cannot wait!!! |

Expert 957 Charlotte, NC | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS Hi guys...I'm still here. It's just been a crazy couple of days. I was up for about 30 hrs straight Thu am to Fri afternoon, got a 2 hr nap, then took the whole family to a baseball game. Finally got to bed about midnight last night. 6 hrs of sleep then Karen's first standalone 5k this am. Follow that up with coaching 2 soccer games and lunch with the in-laws. Finally home...schedule calls for a 3 hr ride today but I might be lucky if I get in 1 hr on the trainer. I hope everyone is having a great weekend. It sounds like you've all had an eventful couple of days. |

Extreme Veteran 608 | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS Well it was a good day in Indiana. I got a workout in with Shelley and John (husband), went to Jean's Mary Kay shindig and got my face done, and then went to another really close friends house to get my hair cut. I was a good day! I have great family and great friends...it was a great day! Have a great evening everyone. Amy IN Edited by amy mutz 2008-04-19 9:11 PM |

Extreme Veteran 504 Tucson, AZ | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS Amy, that is a truly good thing that you are doing....!!!!! Eric, 30 hours straight... ouch... Well guys, I have been hinting at this for a while but I now have permission to share far and wide... If everyone stays healthy we will have our first grandchild in November. Now I need to buy one of those goofy hats that says something like "step aside, Grandpa is passing you..." The news made for a wondrously happy moment. I have felt the warm glow of inner happiness for a month. I can't wait!!!! Guess I will be spending November in Cincinnati... Good night all, it has been a very long day... EK |

Extreme Veteran 504 Tucson, AZ | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS amy mutz - 2008-04-19 7:13 PM Congratulations Emerson, that is truly wonderful news!!!! You will be a wonderful Grandpa. Thanks, I am SOOOOO looking forward to it... it will not be long before there is one of these in my future once again... There is nothing in my life that I take greater joy in than being a parent to my little girl. I relish the day when I get to engage in the happiness of life that only a child can bring. This is the "new mom" about 22 years ago... What a day... Up at 4:30 to prep for a meeting. Out the door at 7:30 to run with my Cincinnati Christian running group, coffee catch up with the group, met with a contractor to get my condo finished, got cleaned up, met my wife's primary caregiver to set the plans for next week and then went to drop the Christmas decorations at storage, came back to meet with an editor to work on the book for two hours, had an intense meeting in my condo about a $1,000,000 shortfall, had a 15 minute break to leave a message on BT, went to dinner with my 27 year old daughter Libby(not the new mom) and 18 of her friends for her birthday, left the mid 20 somethings (This was a Pam scene, not an Emerson scene) to their designer martinis and came home... And there is no better way to end a long day than with my friends here in our group... Be well Amy in IN, Dee, Eric, Greg, Pam and I hope to hear from Mike and Amy in CA soon... Emerson |

Extreme Veteran 484 El Cajon, Ca | Subject: RE: medic0020's Group - CLOSED--BUSTIN AT THE SEAMS Hi All Lets see, as for earthquakes, I have lived in Ca for 12 years and I have never felt an earthquake like that. I think 3.0 was the biggest. (knocking on wood.) I am glad everyone is ok. Pam good luck with your boyfriend. This is a fun time. Julie, I am so excited for your brother. The pictures are great and he did awesome. I also love the tattoo. I would have loved to be in the parlor with your entire family. I cannot wait to see you in two weeks. When are you coming down to San Diego? The local tri club has a beginner open water swim on Thursday evening, and I think they are going over the swim course. Let me know if you will be here. Amy, I am glad your sister is well. Your hair cut looks great. And what a wonderful cause. I seem to be homebound today with a sick kiddo. No fun at all. Emerson, Congrats on being a grandpa. That will be one spoiled baby! The best thing about being grandparents, you can send the baby home I hope you guys have a smooth move back to Ohio. Tell Peggy hi for us. Eric, great job motivating yourself after a two hour nap. Tell your wife congrats on the 5k. She did great. Greg, Great job swimming. I have also recently been doing the Total Immersion drills. They have definitely helped. I cannot even imagine riding my bike 150 miles, yikes! Dee, rest, woman, rest. Great job with your bike and run yesterday. I hope you are taking today off from 'werk' I know I have been absentee lately. You all know how life gets in the way. I have been keeping up with my workouts but my post padding has taken a hit. I hope you all are well. |

I am a bit off. That happens a lot now that I am not working. My concept of time has been altered. So, I will keep my wishes for a smooth transition back to Oh. until next month. |
