Got my gall bladder taken out 10/7, so no fall marathons for me. Have a follow-up on Friday and hoping to get the ok to start very slowly running again. Hope the follow up goes well Jen! |

I'm really missing running this week. It kind of sucks. It does help a little that its chilly and raining this week, so I wouldn't really want to run anyway. |

MUCH better than when I saw him a week and a half ago. I have a little pain once in awhile, but I'm able to eat a lot more and be a little active. I still get tired easily, but that's getting better, too. I feel like it's not too hard to feel better than 2 weeks ago...I was really miserable right after surgery. |

LOL Today we kept watching the live cams on snowbird.com and seeing the snow accumulate... by 12pm my part-time staff took off to go hiking/snowboarding I gotta see exactly what happens in the am... I'm also supposed to help with a track meet at son's school tomorrow... I have a sneaky feeling however, that they may cancel that... |

I know that feeling... actually I think the worst part of any recovery is coming off the high power pain meds... I can't imagine that with an abdominal surgery... Wish we were closer... we'd likely be on pace for walking |

Yeah, I somehow doubt that there is going to be a track meet tomorrow. I miss the snow for a little while and then I'm happy I don't have to shovel. |

We would be on the same pace for walking. |

What kind of diet they giving you? Low-fat, no spicy food. I tend to eat a small amount of protein and a plain starch with a little fruit or veggies for lunch and dinner. Not very exciting, but it is a lot healthier than how I was eating. |
