I have gone on that many trips...just they are normally to places like Calgary...and Saskatoon...and Winnipeg...less exciting...haha All of those destinations sound exciting to me. Guess it depends on what side of the boarder you live on. Probably...and I have been to all of them before...many times...thanks swimming. Haha. |

I gotta get on that, I thought I had until the weekend. I'm going to register, but I'm not 100% sure if I'll run. It will depend on MCM recovery. I am still trying to decide. Money is tight but the DH decided to do this "run for the state house" and I am thinking I need equal time for what I want to do as well. We had a huge argument about my running the St. Petersburg 1/2 M in November. Even though I signed up for it after talking with him and him agreeing that it would be fun. (I won that one, I was going alone, now we are both going )We are camping at a nearby state park so it isn't that expensive. We can drive in a long day. California is gonna be more money. Still, I can get miles for most of the cost of the flight(s) (if DH comes along). Sigh. I have to make a decision soon. I did St. Pete last November and that is an awesome course. You will love it. Be sure to go to the Dali Museum. It was awesome. You should do it again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It would be fun, but not in the cards for this year. It's the Womens Running Magazine race, right? Last year was the first race and they did an awesome job for the first year. We all received pink crocs. Do you get those this year? |

There could be advantages to this new branch. |

It would be about an hour drive for me, but he said the environment is very laid back, and my hours would be flexible. He is going to submit my resume to his company. I hope something works out soon! I do too, It is hard to do much of anything with everything crossed! Crossing everything here as well! Same here! |

I will run in the dark, in the cold, in the heat, in the snow, and in light showers, but torrential downpours with lighting involved warrant postponing the run until later. I stayed in bed today and finished reading a book. No storms to keep me inside, except for the one inside my head. TOMORROW MORNING EVERYBODY UP EVERYONE RUNS BEFORE WORK NO EXCUSES!!!!! Will my run on the way in to work count? It definitely won't qualify as "early" but it'll be before I do anything productive... |

Will be leaving early today and tomorrow and am off Friday - yeah for flex time!!! Welcome back Bill!!! We missed you yesterday. x2 Thanks ladies! WB! you missed VEGAS talk! haha Well, why don't you give him a summary? Oh, you'd rather I would? Ok, happy to oblige. Melindy is going to Vegas for 2 weeks, shortened to 5 days. She claims that there will be no naughtiness during her visit, but we know that is just not possible. Not in Vegas. We also have good intell that Neal is taking a short flight over from Iowa that same 2 weeks, shortened to 5 days. They are pretending they know nothing of each other's plans, but we've caught on to their ruse. They are cute. Great summary Kim! I think that should get Mr. Graves all caught up. |

Yes, I am starting to feel better, but I still could use to have just about anything rubbed. I am going to do my first run in over a week today. I'll get up tomorrow, Ann, but it will be to bike, is that ok? Kendra, That still amazes me that people drop their kids off at the library for baby sitting duty. People are always shocked to find out what happens at a public library. They think it is a safe place, because it is a library. They seem to forget the "public" part which means that anyone, perverts and all, can come into the library. Luckily, I don't have to deal with very many perverts or homeless, but then I get the babysitting duty for middle schoolers. And all parents think their kids are "angels". If they are such "angels" then why don't you let them go home when you arent' there? There are no such thing as "angel middle school kids". There were times I would have given mine away if it were legal. I'll have 1 in middle school next year. I'm not looking forward to it. It is amazing that any of them make it alive. I have to teach a couple of a days a year at middle schools. In my opinion, tasers and cattle prods should be standard issue. And wooden spoons. Don't forget wooden spoons. |
